This is one of the best motivational speech i've ever heard. This man has perseverance, great wisdom and great work ethic. This is why he's on top. Like he said, its not easy to stay on top. Life is hard but you keep at it.
i'm not much into this motivation stuff. And I acknowledge that Ray off-field "activities"... left a dark shadow on his image... But, at the same time, I acknowledge his greatness on his craft. Doesn't matter if it is a sport or not, he was a complete pro in his job. That was truly inspiration, starting since day one with his organization and since day 1 as well, he was already a good solid player. Remaining great during his ENTIRE career, all with one team. It's like a perfect resume. I have great respect for that, years and years of punishment and he remained solid every single damn year!
I loved this video from day one and now that I see it was a foreshadow..it made it that much more inspirational. To my #2 favorite player of all time...we are gonna miss you. Not just the Ravens Nation, but the ENTIRE LEAGUE. This guy needs to be on next year's Madden just because of his career (and yes, I know he was on the front of Madden 05...)

To be honest, this speech gives me chills and I will actually be pulling--maybe not for the Ravens as a team--but for Ray. It's gonna be much different, not seeing Lewis do his thing on Sundays, and I can honestly say I will miss his competitive fire he had with him each game. From black & gold, good luck on Sunday.
