Helens Theme and Flight of the Bumblebee solidified this as my favorite INK song I love the Candyman soundtrack it's one of those movie soundtracks I always have to listen to.

Not only are the vocals next-level and the lyrics insane, the nod to Flight of the Bumblebees at 2:41 while screaming "FLY" seriously shows how masterful their attention to detail is here! Truly a cut above the rest!

This whole album is flooded with details. Like every moment of the album was crafted one inch at a time.
I always thought that "A Grave Mistake" would be his best song vocally. But damn I was wrong. This is definitely on another level.

I completely agree. Welcome To Horrorwood was fucking phenomenal, and really established the thesis for the album, as well as being a kickass song to open with. And Farewell ll Flesh is a strong closer and really has a sense of finality to it with how powerfully it pushed throughout and how grandiose it seemed like, to me at least. Overall a great album, 10/10.

Yeah, it is canonically saying his name five times to summon the Candyman but his name is only said three times in the song. Reason could be one of two things:
1. An intentional nod to the Mandela Effect surrounding the franchise where many people think it's three times instead of five, which I feel is likely folks confusing his summoning ritual for one of his inspirations, Bloody Mary.
2. Even if Candyman only exists in the movies, would you want to risk saying his name five times, even in a banger of a song like this?

Honestly this song feels underrated. It's insane how good this song is. So emotional and fucking epic. This, rainy day, ex-mortis, and a rash decision are probably my favorites but this entire album is absolutely fantastic. Silver scream 1 and 2 are just *chefs kiss*

Best song on the album, hands down. I really love Wurst Vacation as well, but this definitely edges it out. This one’s too perfect. The melody, lyrics, the pacing, and the delicate balance between heavy and melodic. 10/10.

@@BurnoutPJ It’s really tough for me to pick between the two. Wurst Vacation has a lot of what I love in a metal song. I really dig how over-the-top and in your face it is, but it mostly just comes down to my personal preference for songs that build from a softer ballad style into a full blown metal track. Melody is king for me. But yeah, Wurst Vacation is easily my second favorite.

I thought the Evil Dead song was my new favorite INK song but then I heard this one, this song is sweet to the sweet, I love how they mix in the theme which in my opinion Candyman has the best horror theme of all time, don't get me Halloween is great, The Shining is iconic as fuck, Friday the 13ths Ki Ki Ki Ma Ma Ma is amazing too but nothing beats the Gothic masterpiece that is the Candyman theme.

Candyman is one of my favorite horror movies ever and this song absolutely slaps. It truly is a cut above the rest. The bee buzzes were a great touch and Spencer's voice is on fire in this song. "Everything is bitter sweet when you're the Candyman🐝"

The various ranges and emotions of his voice gives me the chill everytime and I never say that but what makes them so deeply good is the way this band builds every songs. It have so much structure and it's done so right . The changes are melodically on point it kicks me in the guts. Well passionately concocted music like this is rarely seen. The new Candyman was easily the best horror movie I've seen in theaters, probably since Ready or Not, so I was really excited to see if the OG or the new one would make it into this new album and I am SO stoked on this one.

I have some kind of headcanon on how that music video would end already - like, that police captain that tries to get Spencer away runs to his home after being injured by him already and quickly tries to either pack his things to leave the town or rather, try to call someone for help and then...Tony Todd aka the OG Candyman emerges from his mirror and ends him.

All of INK's band members are fucking gifted without a doubt. From the vocals to the drums, guitar, bass, etc. Hell even when it comes to the live action and lyric videos, everyone contributing gives 110% and I respect that shit.

Su many details, it's so haunting and beautiful, yet brutal and portrays every element of the movie so elegantly. The piano, the voice, the backing vocals, the chorus is an actual hook lol.
