I would absolutely love a bundle of the old games! Just so we have the ability to play them on modern consoles.
Time flies. Still remember my parents being called in school because of some fatalities I draw back in the 90´s. Mortal Kombat is still really cool, 30 years after.

Purist must bring back Midway to reclaim Mortal Kombat from Warner Brothers New Characters in 2ed Timeline should be erased including 11 X 2011 & Versus DC Comics Universe same goes for Armageddon Deception & Deadly Alliance since they are Odd Numbers Roman Number & Subtitles

Holy hell! I remember playing this on SNES in 2nd/3rd grade'ish.
After the 11 experience, I just want them to reinvigorate the franchise. To feel once more like Mk. I feel that at this point not only they have lost the passion, but also me. However whenever I see something related to the original trilogy something in me awakens still. MOOOOOORTAAAAAL KOOOOOOOMBAAAAAAT!

To answer your question, anything regarding the mortal kombat franchise. Like new remasters to MK1, MK2, UMK3, MKT & MK9 for next generation consoles with either new graphics & changes to the games but enough to be worth addition to new & old fans alike. 😍
Also information on NRS's next game would be awesome since we haven't heard anything from them since 2020. 👀

Man, where does the time go?
I 1st played Mortal Kombat 1 on Super Nintendo on Christmas Day when I was 8 years old & in 3rd Grade.
Coincidentally, I was also introduced to Street Fighter via Street Fighter II: Turbo on Super Nintendo when 1 of my older cousins brought them over to our house that day.
You can probably guess which 1 we played more during that time period which explains why I like it better.
I think it would be awesome if McFarlane Toys did klassic Mortal Kombat figures (like at least everyone in Mortal Kombat 1, including Reptile) alongside their Mortal Kombat 11 figure line.
I also think a Mortal Kombat vs Street Fighter crossover would be really cool, but I doubt it would ever happen.
I don't care for MK12 for now. What i would like to see is a documentary on the creation of the game, with Ed Boon, John Tobias and every actor from the first 3 games packed with all the footage from behind the scens, concept art etc and of course that HD remake be real! I think i speak for a lot of people by saying that we would enjoy that HD remake more than MK12.
I was 6 when MK did came out. I've got my NES-Famicom-clone that year. Here in just made up Russia we didn't had those arcades, obviously. But I remember being beaten to tears by older brother on MKII on Sega MD, some time later.
And now I think - what a great design they have put on it!

30 YEARS OLD! I remember playing Mortal Kombat 1 on Plug & Play way back then.
How about a bundle of old mk games in one. For example, mk 1 through trilogy can be a bundle. MK 4, deadly alliance, shallion monks, deception, and Armageddon can be one. Mk vs DC, MK 9, MKX and MK11 can be it’s be a bundle too. Having all of these will make a person’s “Kollection” better

…Because there is a difference between MK3 and UMK3.
Absolutely right! In fact, the bar top version of the Arcade1up includes both MK3 and UMK3 for that reason!

I don't want anything fancy, maybe just au re-release of classic MK up to MK4, maybe with various versions (Arcade, SNES, MD...). An official documentary would be nice. A a straight up remake of the first three games in HD.

If there's gonna be a physical release of the Mortal Kombat 30th anniversary bundle collection, I'm wearing my Goro costume at my local Gamestop as a means of promotion.
I wanna see another MK commercial parody episode like the previous with this time add MK1 Sonya Blade in it (Elizabeth Malecki) and her aerobics workout from the 90's since her outfit is a green tank top, green legging and black thong leotard, and yes people this was a common fashion for women going to the gym in the 80's and 90's as fashion's come and go.
I remember when I First played Mortal Kombat I played it when I was young on the PlayStation they should really do the Remake of The MK trilogy like what Ed Boon was doing in mid-late 2000s instead of simple Report for Modern Gen system’s

30 years?! How long has it been...?
I'm...not really too hyped nor am I anxious about it, especially the way the NetherRealm games has been going... I would, however, like a bundle of all the games within the klassic timeline like they did with Street Fighter and Megaman, perhaps some awesome retools of Trilogy and Shaolin Monks, but....idk aside from that.
Also, side note, I guess you could say my fanfics can also be a 30th anniversary thing kinda, sorta since I'd started back in March with Shaolin Monks, Part II.

I'd like something tangible, to be honest. Behind the scenes vids are nice and all, but we've seen stuff like that for years and years now through the various Krypts in some games. I'm personally hoping Warner Bros. actually lets other teams make Mortal Kombat related games.
MK can be more than just a fighting game and Shaolin Monks, as well as the RAVENOUS demand for it, is proof enough of that.
What if we had a game like Sifu/Absolver that functioned kind of like DragonBall Xenoverse 2:
The camera could be over-the-shoulder, where you create your own character, interact with pre established characters, gain skills/fighting styles/moves from them, and go through various zones in different realms for PVE and PVP battles. A kind of Beat-em-up MMORPG hybrid.
Cosmetics could help justify the game in WB's money grubbing eyes and they'd in turn have a new Live Service game they can have under their belt.
Anyway, I don't think we're getting anything super significant for this anniversary, maybe more behind the scenes vids, maybe a reveal later this year of the next game (Which will undoubtedly be a fighting game, cause come on.)
But as I've seen from several facets of the community, the franchise needs a jolt to the heart pretty badly, especially after the way the newer games have kind of divided us.
I agree - tangible is the way to go! Physical copies of the game (on cartridge, as I hinted as in the vid, or on a CD, as someone stated in the comments) are important and long lasting. A lot of the stuff from previous anniversaries have been scattered and assembling everything together took some digging. This time, I would love a unified consistent theme across all social media, merch, real life events, etc. Something to tie it all together. Maybe a re-release or remaster of previous games in a bundle. Love the fact that the team is so active this time around, which does give me hope that there might be something... even if I'm not exactly sure what that would be. A new & different type of game like you mentioned is also cool but I see that as further on down the road (rather than an anniversary thing).
As much as a remastered bundle would rock, we've seen how Netherrealm handles that: poorly.
First time I hear of this other studio and maybe they do it better, but I have low hopes.

I feel like that for the 30th anniversary of mortal kombat for mk11 they should of given us all the skins to download because there are some skins we can't download which is unfair for everyone else it should have had the enteral klash skin, gold demon skin and the avalanche skin they need things to download them.
This is 100% right. That would be great thing to do for the fans - help them make their kollection komplete, once and for all!
@@tabmok99 you and I are both right though for the enteral klash it needs a theme and the last 2 some of us don't have the kollector's edition for the avalanche skin for Sub-zero and the gold demon skin for scorpion.
