This movie just showed how scary Wanda can be. Sam raimi killed this Movie to the max. They weren't lying when they said this was a horror movie. There were alot of terrifying moments in this movie. So this gets a 9/10 for me

She's so powerful because she has strong motives to be with her kids while Dr strange just trying to protect people and Chavez. I bet if they put more emotional weight on Dr strange like when he lost Christine in the third sequel we'll see him going astray and becomes a supreme strange
Between this movie and Moon Knight, it seems like Marvel is making their productions more violent. The death scenes in the movie looked like something you'd see in a comic...🙂 I like it.

People said bad things about the first Doctor Strange movie but that changed quickly after Infinity War. Then they started appreciating the visuals and acknowledged the importance of Strange's movie. They're saying bad things about this movie rn but they'll turn around for sure.
I spent like the first 30 mins of the new Dr Strange movie getting mad about how it was thematically all over the place and Dr Strange kept having illogical power spikes and ex machinas, but then I realized that is exactly how his comics are. Then I started seeing it as kind of a love letter to that style of Dr Strange story and I enjoyed the hell out of the rest of the movie. It's also very, very much a Sam Raimi movie, really shines in the comical eldritch horror department
This movie was totally old school Strange, for better or worse and for all the reasons you said. When it went into zombie Strange with the cloak of the damned, I was like "Wow, they're going old school Marvel horror!"
I love horror and I love my superhero movies and when the two are mixed together then I'm happy as hell. I really loved this movie. Liz Olsen crushed it and chewed the scenery. Benedict has become rdj as someone who was meant for this role. I can't wait to see this again. Great review guys! I always look forward to these.
It's a 7 at best but still a good movie, Olsen absolutely killed it, her acting was absolutely on point, wish they didn't make Dr Strange corny AF and didn't let Wanda humiliate the Illuminati, especially Reed Richards and Charles Xavier.

The spell casting was insane in this, I was so happy watching him being awesome on the big screen. Benedict Cumberbatch is amazing, he was born to play Doctor Strange. And Elizabeth Olsen was brilliant. I can't wait to see this movie again.

I just heard that Scarlet Witch will have a solo movie. Elizabeth Olsen just signed a new multi movie deal which will include her own movie. Marvel knows what the fans want, but the dope part of it is, they give you what you want.
Energetic, positive review. I have seen some negative reviews but I loved this movie. Perfect? No, but that doesn't mean you have to nitpick it to death. Obviously you guys are real fans who are unaffected by critics views and speak from the heart. Wanda blew me away in this film.

I really, really liked this movie a lot. I went in with no expectations or speculation about what would happen other than what we knew for sure and it was fantastic. I would rate it 8.5 out of 10 and that's only because I thought the pacing was a little too fast at times. I could've done with a No Way Home length of movie.

I loved this movie so much, its so different from what we've seen before with marvel. A fresh and unique entry into the MCU was exactly what we needed, wanda was the MVP I couldn't take my eyes off her whenever she was on screen. CRAZY BRUH 9/10
We've just witnessed a full fledeged MCU earth with all the characters living, kinda, on Earth 838. The inhumans, X-men, F4, Avengers, and Spider-man with other street heroes exist is the mcu in its multiverse and I got to see that. That's fucking good enough for me

For me, I liked this movie more as a Scarlet Witch movie rather than a Doctor Strange movie, Elizabeth Olsen completely stole the show for me, honestly I forgot it was a Doctor Strange movie about 25 min into it. Overall I really enjoyed this movie, the experience was so different and surprising, I'll give it a 8.5/10 :)
I did the same cos all the talks, leaks, theories underwhelmed my NWH experience. So for this, I only watched the first trailer and I shut off every other things!! So I went in blind and believe me, I was blown away!! The pacing was so good...action from beginning to end. And it was so dark that I was so so happy abt that!! Just amazing!!!
After this movie, there's no way you bring Wanda back as a hero or anti-hero. She needs to be brought back as a MAJOR villain that forces the Avengers to have to put her down. Hopefully with the help of the X-Men and Midnight Suns! Because there's no way that the Dark Hold was destroyed that easily. This is one of the most evil and insidious items in the Marvel universe. So there's no way it was destroyed WITHOUT leaving a little something behind.

I think He Who Remains got a hold of her somehow to make help make the TVA and weaponize Alioth. There’s no one else who has the power that she has to do that. And I think she will be used in Secret Wars to reset everything.

I thought the movie was ok. Was expecting more, but the Scarlet Witch scenes were great except for the end. Her destruction of the illuminati reminded me of Carrie at the prom with the blood on her face and her destruction. Elizabeth Olsen is such a bad ass actress.

Today I watched Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, an excellent, fantastic, wonderful, badass dark, trippy, and terrifying movie. The music and visuals in this movie were amazing.
I'm glad you both enjoyed it. Sam Raimi just has a particular style and I think it worked perfectly for Strange. Someone told me to check it out in 3D but I've got a 4DX theater not far from me so I'm going to check it out tomorrow!
9.5/10 for me!! All the deaths were 🔥... but when Wanda threw Wong off the mountain... I almost walked out theater saying “fuck that!” Wong, Darcy, Korg, and Luis are off limits for dying!!
I was happy with how Wanda dealt with the Illuminati. I’m sure they could’ve had her do the same to an alternate universe avengers but the fact they got who they did to play those roles gave more weight to what the scarlet witch is capable of and made her feel like a real threat to the multiverse.
*wanda is the best mcu villian ive seen so far. She's so menacing, bonechilling and unstoppable, and doesn't have the typical motive for villiany (power, money, etc), only villian I can think of who had a similar motive was kingpin from spiderverse. But Elizabeth Olsens portrayal of wanda was the darkest I've seen in an mcu film ever, you could REALLY FEEL the negative presence radiating off of her, (her rolling clouds over karmar-taj, giving her CHILLING monologue)*

This movie was so close to being rated R. If there was the appropriate blood for the Black Bolt or Reed Richards kills, seeing Cpt Carter in half would've been a hard R. The music battle might be my favorite fight across the whole MCU now.
It was a 9/10 for me only due to the fact that she destroys all the other Darkholds. Wanda was easily my favorite character in this. I like Strange as well.
re: Wanda's Villainy - i too thought she would start working with Strange and then flip the script but the time she told him to bring America to her [and then realised she slipped] i figured a trip was about to be had! at one point - in the first viewing - i was lil annoyed because Wanda came so far and they just straight up made her a villain BUT [but] i thought about it and a). it made sense b). grief doesn't just go away, it's all still raw for her and the darkhold wasn't helping. random thing: special shout out to Agatha Harkness - her crystallum possession of Ralph [eyes and ears] reminds me of their sleepwalker spell. maybe Wanda took a cue from that and built on it.

This movie was soooo trippy. I saw it in 4DX earlier today. I'm going to watch it again next weekend in regular format. I stayed away from all social media and shame on all those people for posting stuff trying to ruin it for everyone else. The stand out moments to me were the fight scenes. I couldn't believe the deaths. This was like PG-13 +. It should have been R rated. The musical note battle, the battle with Scarlet Witch and other Guardians of the temple. The ending. Gaining the 3rd eye! My goodness seeing all of the universes. Incredible! 🔥🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥

They should have made it a two-part movie. The first half the first Scarlet Witch solo film, the second part, Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness. Though I appreciate that production-wise that was absolutely impossible.
This movie was out of this world! Sam Rami is a genius 👏🏾 the way this film was done just blew my mind, surprised me, scared me lol Definitely one to be seen in 3D or 4DX what an experience!!!! I just wish it was longer 😁
Bruce Campbell beating himself up with his own hand was a throw back to Evil Dead when his hand got possessed. And he ended up cut it off and use a chainsaw for a hand.
The disappointing part for me was the Illuminati sequences. Them dying brutally is fine but a lot of that made no sense. How all 4 of them confronted Wanda and watched Bolt and Reed die without emoting at all, No plan, no forethought, Captain Marvel can't die from being crushed like that, this woman punches planets and tanks blows from the strongest people in the Marvelverse and Captain Carter charging at Wanda like that would never happen, she'd have a plan and work with her other teammate. Aside from that it was great just too short and the CGI in quite a few scenes was wonky. Wanda was amazing in this movie though and outshined Strange for the vast majority of it.
Miss America's powers were stunning. I hope she becomes friends with that Minotaur because I'd like to know more about him, too. I was super worried about Wong the whole movie.

Just seen the movie. 40th street Philly strikes again. Me and the viewers had to wait 20 minutes because that dates projector was having problems. All we could see was a pink screen. After the wait we was moved to another screen which I finally seen this epic movie.
I loved the movie but in a different way than I loved projects like Wandavision, Spiderman or the first Dictor Strange movie (which is my favourite of the Marvel movies). In terms of Horror it wasn't the classic jumpscare loud music type of stuff, but more so terrifying and brutal. And because the action started right away you were basically tense for 2 hours straight. The only relaxing moment were the 5 minutes at the wedding and even there, if you are a Doctor Strange fan, it wasn't as easy because it was sad for him. I do understand some criticism however. Wanda did go what felt like 0 to 100. Of course there was the pist-credit scene in Wandavision where we knew sh*t was about to get down when Wanda as the Scarlet Witch read the Darkhold, but I perhaps wished for just 2 or 3 more scenes were there was an internal battle in 616 Wanda (though I understood it as being portrayed in the battle of 838 Wanda being taken over by 616 Wanda). But despite that I loved the direction as well. Some shots felt really untypical for Marvel but I love that honestly. The further a project strays away from what we have known for 30 projects or so yet, the better - at least to me. I really don't know what people would have expected in terms of cameos though or what they were expecting in general. More x-men would have been cool as would many other characters have been, but we still got Illuminati and a lot more characters would have bloated the movie too much to me. I do wonder which project is the next to pick up on what happened this movie or the groundwork it set. Ant-man and the wasp is a possibility for sure, the fantastic four are coming at some point and House of Harkness could as well

I just heard that Scarlet Witch will have a solo movie. Elizabeth Olsen just signed a new multi movie deal which will include her own movie. Marvel knows what the fans want, but the dope part of it is, they give you what you want.
Energetic, positive review. I have seen some negative reviews but I loved this movie. Perfect? No, but that doesn't mean you have to nitpick it to death. Obviously you guys are real fans who are unaffected by critics views and speak from the heart. Wanda blew me away in this film.

I really, really liked this movie a lot. I went in with no expectations or speculation about what would happen other than what we knew for sure and it was fantastic. I would rate it 8.5 out of 10 and that's only because I thought the pacing was a little too fast at times. I could've done with a No Way Home length of movie.

I loved this movie so much, its so different from what we've seen before with marvel. A fresh and unique entry into the MCU was exactly what we needed, wanda was the MVP I couldn't take my eyes off her whenever she was on screen. CRAZY BRUH 9/10
We've just witnessed a full fledeged MCU earth with all the characters living, kinda, on Earth 838. The inhumans, X-men, F4, Avengers, and Spider-man with other street heroes exist is the mcu in its multiverse and I got to see that. That's fucking good enough for me

For me, I liked this movie more as a Scarlet Witch movie rather than a Doctor Strange movie, Elizabeth Olsen completely stole the show for me, honestly I forgot it was a Doctor Strange movie about 25 min into it. Overall I really enjoyed this movie, the experience was so different and surprising, I'll give it a 8.5/10 :)

I did the same cos all the talks, leaks, theories underwhelmed my NWH experience. So for this, I only watched the first trailer and I shut off every other things!! So I went in blind and believe me, I was blown away!! The pacing was so good...action from beginning to end. And it was so dark that I was so so happy abt that!! Just amazing!!!
After this movie, there's no way you bring Wanda back as a hero or anti-hero. She needs to be brought back as a MAJOR villain that forces the Avengers to have to put her down. Hopefully with the help of the X-Men and Midnight Suns! Because there's no way that the Dark Hold was destroyed that easily. This is one of the most evil and insidious items in the Marvel universe. So there's no way it was destroyed WITHOUT leaving a little something behind.

I think He Who Remains got a hold of her somehow to make help make the TVA and weaponize Alioth. There’s no one else who has the power that she has to do that. And I think she will be used in Secret Wars to reset everything.

When she gave Hayward a warning in Wanda vision she wasn’t joking when she said that. When she gave doctor strange a warning to hand over America Chavez that’s her being nice. Today I watched Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, an excellent, fantastic, wonderful, badass dark, trippy, and terrifying movie. The music and visuals in this movie were amazing.
When beast puts together what happened to Charles and the others, I wonder how long that Wanda has until they come for her.
I'm glad you both enjoyed it. Sam Raimi just has a particular style and I think it worked perfectly for Strange. Someone told me to check it out in 3D but I've got a 4DX theater not far from me so I'm going to check it out tomorrow!
9.5/10 for me!! All the deaths were 🔥... but when Wanda threw Wong off the mountain... I almost walked out theater saying “fuck that!” Wong, Darcy, Korg, and Luis are off limits for dying!!
I was happy with how Wanda dealt with the Illuminati. I’m sure they could’ve had her do the same to an alternate universe avengers but the fact they got who they did to play those roles gave more weight to what the scarlet witch is capable of and made her feel like a real threat to the multiverse.

She's so menacing, bonechilling and unstoppable, and doesn't have the typical motive for villiany (power, money, etc), only villian I can think of who had a similar motive was kingpin from spiderverse. But Elizabeth Olsens portrayal of wanda was the darkest I've seen in an mcu film ever, you could REALLY FEEL the negative presence radiating off of her, (her rolling clouds over karmar-taj, giving her CHILLING monologue)*

This movie was so close to being rated R. If there was the appropriate blood for the Black Bolt or Reed Richards kills, seeing Cpt Carter in half would've been a hard R. The music battle might be my favorite fight across the whole MCU now.

It was a 9/10 for me only due to the fact that she destroys all the other Darkholds. Wanda was easily my favorite character in this. I like Strange as well.
re: Wanda's Villainy - i too thought she would start working with Strange and then flip the script but the time she told him to bring America to her [and then realised she slipped] i figured a trip was about to be had! at one point - in the first viewing - i was lil annoyed because Wanda came so far and they just straight up made her a villain BUT [but] i thought about it and a). it made sense b). grief doesn't just go away, it's all still raw for her and the darkhold wasn't helping. random thing: special shout out to Agatha Harkness - her crystallum possession of Ralph [eyes and ears] reminds me of their sleepwalker spell. maybe Wanda took a cue from that and built on it.

This movie was soooo trippy. I saw it in 4DX earlier today. I'm going to watch it again next weekend in regular format. I stayed away from all social media and shame on all those people for posting stuff trying to ruin it for everyone else. The stand out moments to me were the fight scenes. I couldn't believe the deaths. This was like PG-13 +. It should have been R rated. The musical note battle, the battle with Scarlet Witch and other Guardians of the temple. The ending. Gaining the 3rd eye! My goodness seeing all of the universes. Incredible! 🔥🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥

I expected Wanda vs Dr. Strange but didn't think Wanda was gonna be THE villain of the movie and a horrifying one at that.
Black Bolts actors name is Ansom Mount and he is currently playing Captain Pike in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds on Paramount + and he is killing it.
Marvel should release a rated R version of this movie, a true horror movie, guts n all.

They should have made it a two-part movie. The first half the first Scarlet Witch solo film, the second part, Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness. Though I appreciate that production-wise that was absolutely impossible.

Movie was 9/10 definitely. Very well made and with logical continuation of what is going on around characters. I was pleased.
Bruce Campbell beating himself up with his own hand was a throw back to Evil Dead when his hand got possessed.
And he ended up cut it off and use a chainsaw for a hand.
The disappointing part for me was the Illuminati sequences. Them dying brutally is fine but a lot of that made no sense. How all 4 of them confronted Wanda and watched Bolt and Reed die without emoting at all, No plan, no forethought, Captain Marvel can't die from being crushed like that, this woman punches planets and tanks blows from the strongest people in the Marvelverse and Captain Carter charging at Wanda like that would never happen, she'd have a plan and work with her other teammate.
Aside from that it was great just too short and the CGI in quite a few scenes was wonky. Wanda was amazing in this movie though and outshined Strange for the vast majority of it.

Just seen it yesterday! Man oh man! I left the theater with my jaw on the ground. I’m definitely surprised it wasn’t Rated R. Elizabeth’s performance was amazing as The Scarlett Witch! This was our taste at a horror Marvel movie! Definitely 9/10.
I wish this movie was 3 hours long. I wanted more of everthing. It was an 8/10 for me. My only grip was the lack of actual magic. There was never anything cool other than the short fight between the 2 docot strange movies

Just seen the movie. 40th street Philly strikes again. Me and the viewers had to wait 20 minutes because that dates projector was having problems. All we could see was a pink screen. After the wait we was moved to another screen which I finally seen this epic movie.
I loved the movie but in a different way than I loved projects like Wandavision, Spiderman or the first Dictor Strange movie (which is my favourite of the Marvel movies). In terms of Horror it wasn't the classic jumpscare loud music type of stuff, but more so terrifying and brutal. And because the action started right away you were basically tense for 2 hours straight. The only relaxing moment were the 5 minutes at the wedding and even there, if you are a Doctor Strange fan, it wasn't as easy because it was sad for him.
I do understand some criticism however. Wanda did go what felt like 0 to 100. Of course there was the pist-credit scene in Wandavision where we knew sh*t was about to get down when Wanda as the Scarlet Witch read the Darkhold, but I perhaps wished for just 2 or 3 more scenes were there was an internal battle in 616 Wanda (though I understood it as being portrayed in the battle of 838 Wanda being taken over by 616 Wanda).
But despite that I loved the direction as well. Some shots felt really untypical for Marvel but I love that honestly. The further a project strays away from what we have known for 30 projects or so yet, the better - at least to me.
I really don't know what people would have expected in terms of cameos though or what they were expecting in general. More x-men would have been cool as would many other characters have been, but we still got Illuminati and a lot more characters would have bloated the movie too much to me.
I do wonder which project is the next to pick up on what happened this movie or the groundwork it set. Ant-man and the wasp is a possibility for sure, the fantastic four are coming at some point and House of Harkness could as well
