I was very surprised with this optic I have tested so many Chinese scopes and they all didn’t perform or were not repeatable. Most of them I didn’t make a video because they just didn’t work. So I went into this expecting the same results but it works as good if not better than my Arken SH-4 gen 2 which blew me away. The glass quality was on par with my Vortex Razor HD gen 1 if not brighter and parallax goes down to 25 yards which is perfect for 22lr. I am very impressed.
I was very very surprised by how well the Discovery ED-PRS GEN2 5-25X56SFIR FFP-Z! I will definitely be moving this optic to a dedicated rifle build coming up in the future.
I’m sure you figured this by now. But to get more windage after it bottoms out just pop those 3 screws and put it back to zero and keep turning.
Just wanted to mention something in case anyone else is having the same issue

Ive been looking at these scopes for a while and every time i see a review for one its usually always fantastic. I think for a beginning distance shooter or for nrl22 these thing would work just fine...thanks for the review.

Looks like Riton Brand Scopes sold here in the US of A.. I see lots of similar scopes with different brand names all over the place. My Riton has a Milrad reticle that pretty much sucks for shooting less than 100 meters. The Riton scope is good quality and works well, I like it as much as my Vortex. The glass on the Riton is a shade clearer, but that might just be differences between models of the two brands. The same scope with a MOA reticle is usually priced higher than the Milrad model.

I have a riton scope, the X3 conquer 6-24x50. Not a bad scope but my major complaint is the eye relief, it is very unforgiving.
I have the one on their site, but it's not the same as yours is the new version apparaently. Do you have a link to the Gen II version? Not sure what the difference is. I love mine. Thanks

discoveryopt.us/ that’s the website and for the price I believe this is the best option. I wish there was something like this when I started. I tested so many inexpensive optics that didn’t perform. That’s why I bit the bullet and got my razor. But as far as performance goes this is a great option

Just checked the price, and here on mainland Europe it is very reasonably priced.
This is the second generation version make sure it’s not the one with 3 sun shades. I was very surprised at how well it did and I’m going to build a rifle for this optic very pleased with its performance

@BROTUNED After a POS burgled my home and stole my Arken SH4 Gen II, I hemmed and hawed for a few months as I decided what scope to buy for my replacement rifle. Finally I made my choice, another Arken, but now right before I was going to place the order I am back to doing the hem and the haw. I could ignore all the positive reviews of the Discovery but I could not dismiss your comment above. Now people buy scopes for rifles all the time, but building a rifle for a scope? That constitutes just about the most solid recommendation for a scope, cheap or expensive, that I can imagine. I'm going to save some $ and order the Discovery right now. Just please don't make such compelling recommendations for any other scopes, at least until the Discovery is mounted and zeroed!

The company reached out to me and sent it to me. I have got many Chinese scopes but all didn’t work out so I didn’t make a video but this one actually works perfectly so I made the video. You can get them on Amazon.
hopefully one of those chinese scopes wasn’t a “Westhunter”? just offered the HD-N 6-24x50
I did get an ohunt and it’s terrible. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone and basically you’d be better off using iron sights. It’s a 6-24 with bad glass the parallax barely works it it has a good reticle Lol that’s about it.
Where can you get one of the leveling kits?
I’m not sure if they sell them separately. I’ll reach out to them and see what they say.
Amazon has them for 20 bucks roughly. But the ariska is the best.

I got a Discovery Opt Vt-Z 4-16x40 SF FFP with the Beeman from Airgunarcheryfun and honestly this scope is pretty nice for the price range!
I just got a scope worth twice the price directly from the manufacturers in China and honestly it feels like junk yet compared to the Discovery.
(And I "paid" for the Discovery and not the other one okay no sponsor bs)

Ya honestly they sent it to me free and from all the other Chinese brands I was very wary about the glass quality and the functionality but after testing it I’m going to use it a lot. Cheers my friend

I have one of those leveling kits and absolutely love it. I shoot from the bench so having it vertical from the scope rail and having the rifle level works best for me.. I noticed your CZ was really stacking them today. Did you use the leveling tool when you installed the scope on it? Very impressive SK std + . My recent lots are outshooting SK RM consistently lately, which is very unusual in my rifles. Great Vid Bro T. I'm loving your vids . The tropic thunder reference makes me laugh every time! I'm surprised the political police haven't put you on pause !
Lol thanks, I didn’t use the leveling tool on my cz I make a level target and I fit the rifle to me the make the scope level to the target. This way every time I shoulder it I don’t need to adjust the rifle to level the optic. I am also surprised about the tropic thunder famous line. I just wanted to see what would happen ha ha. A lot of people are over sensitive now which is ruining the world we live in. But thanks for the comment and have a great day Cheers!

I will never purchase another discovery scope, their warranty says lifetime, says no receipt required, well one I purchased a few years back has failed they will do nothing about it.
