I am so tired of this administration claiming to be the one and only authority on what defines Canadian values. Such breathtaking arrogance.
They can do so because for a very long time, Canada has been without any values or culture. What Canada had in the past century or so was the remnant practices and traditions of its once Christian culture that was slowly eroding away awhile being continuously attacked. The rest of what people might call Canadian “values” consisted of recently concocted secular ideals that only commanded allegiance to the degree that they aligned with each individual’s philosophical commitments. Given the lack of culture and traditions and rampant individualism, these commitments were largely varying from individual to individual. Thus, there were never really any Canadian values for a long time now.

This government is brutally destructive, particularly towards ordinary, hard-working Canadians. The government prefers not to talk about the fact that they borrow money just as we do, and pay the same interest rates that we do. If we are struggling to get by, just imagine the staggering interest accruing on the $2.2 trillion of debt that Trudeau has amassed in just 9 years… after inheriting a balanced budget. Our children are going to be crippled by having to repay the enormous levels of debt amassed due to this government’s insatiable spending. It is therefore understandable that so many young Canadians are deciding to leave this sinking ship. It breaks my heart to see what is happening to our wonderful country under Junior and his incompetents.

I've been watching a lot of committee meetings lately because the number of scams being uncovered is certainly being covered there, and they even live stream it. It can get funny as F at times because they get 6 minutes to avoid answering questions that will put them in jail, so yes this is very much a skill.
I think just for shits and giggles they should shorten the amount of time they have to answer to one minute, and for every time they refuse to mind the time they should get a hefty penalty, like maybe have to pay a million dollar fine. I bet that would cure Squelches twitch.
