- We struggle. We struggle and we struggle more. For what? We wish to give our children the best possible education, so that they can be happy. Little do we realize that there is another way. A better way.
Here in Mayapur we give parents the better way for their children to grow up, and to be educated.
This video is adapted from an article on Gurukula written by H. H. Satsvarūpa dāsa Goswami.

I'm from sweden and i had visited india in 2015 and i discovered about Gurukula. I ended up spending 2 years in a Gurukula in Uttarakhand. In less than 2 years, i learned more than what i did in 21 years.❤️ I just wish Mother India calls me back in her lapse.

So glad to see people coming together back with the original roots. Sadhguru started Gurukul system again i e. Isha foundation..Isha Samskriti. So blessed that now our generation will have the opportunity to experience Gurukul that we as a child couldn't.

Isha Foundation has a Gurukul in Coimbatore. North India has very few Gurukuls left and good ones are very rare.
I am quite elated that my hometown is Krishnanagar, Nadia.Only a few kilometres away from Mayapur.

I wish I could attend this school. These kids are blessed to have that life. We need more such schools please.
I feel very unfortunate bcoz I don't have any children as frankly speaking I am childless 😟 if I have my children I'll let them teach in this school. I really love this place and I will love them to learn lots and lots of lessons about everything which I and any other can't teach them. Every Indian state must have such education system! Current education system is only for earning money and doesn't enough contribute to create good human beings.

Yes and think this is not a perfect Gurukul. When I'll be matured I will open best Gurukul for human kind for poor ones and riches too
k k you are missing the point; The school is aimed at cultivating spiritual science; and while yes surely it should admit orphans & poor, it should admit folks irrespective of thier pocket size. A person can be rich or poor and be good or bad-that gives 4 combinations possible; The school is aiming for enriching culture, not wallet size. Infact anybody willing to work on their spiritual & existential aspect is free to enquire about purpose of life-no need to go to this particular school either. I havent gone but if I aspire, Iam sure one can find alternatives as guided by supersoul in ones heart. It is like pure air, which is for free, only thing is one need to inhale.
Gurukul is not for that purpose
Gurukul purpose is to make such a quality men that these quality men stops the bad effects ( karma ) of the people who do sinful acts and take birth as ophen child and poor child

Beautiful to watch mayapur gurukul ashram school, the world needs spiritual gurukul school in every country, every state, every city.
I love this Gurukal. But I have a suggestion. Gurukul should also include subjects like science (physics, biology, chemistry, astronomy, etc) in it's curriculum. It would help a child very greatly for the future and not to mention, take most of the scepticism of people and make them want to admit their children there. What is more beautiful than that ? Learning in the gurukul lifestyle, about god, learning service and gratitude as well as receiving the best knowledge of sciences and the world.

let kids learn everything in gurukul ,dance,music, litratures, games ,science history ,scriptures everything they want freely. let them work on field or carry loads if they want. dont level it saying its child abuse. the more childrens experience these activities the more they became consious and strong in thier latter life.
