Watch my unforgettable journey to beautiful Thai islands, Ko Lanta and Phi Phi! In April, I embarked on an adventure that allowed me to discover the most remarkable places on these islands. First, let's start with Ko Lanta, also known as Koh Lanta, where I spent a few days before heading to the iconic Phi Phi Islands.
While Phi Phi Islands are often hailed as the best destination in Thailand, my heart found its place in Ko Lanta. I'll be honest; I prefer serene, less touristy locations, and Phi Phi, despite its charm, is a tad crowded for my taste.
Ko Lanta, on the other hand, offers a plethora of enchanting places to explore. Don't miss out on Lanta Old Town's cultural charm, the serene Thung Yee Pheng Mangrove Forest, the Siri Lanta Bridge, and the lovely Khlong Chak Waterfall. Ko Lanta boasts numerous beaches, including the tranquil Mu Ko Lanta National Park beach and the inviting shores of Nui Bay, Pra-Ae Beach, Laem Kho Kwang Beach, and Bamboo Beach.
During my visit to Phi Phi, I also explored nearby islands. Bamboo Island, a small but delightful spot, is perfect for snorkeling enthusiasts. Ko Phi Phi Le, though incredibly scenic, can get quite crowded.
