When that mare finally gets caught, the owner needs to break her again and use her for endurance racing. I cannot believe the mileage that horse put on her legs over those three days and was still going strong. Incredible!

@@laura-kn9qf she shouldn’t, actually. Horses are not native to the US. They destroy land and because they have no natural predators, they overpopulate. Ultimately using the resources native animals need (like deer). A lot of people just kill them so that’s why groups like BLM corral them and sell them off to people. It’s to avoid them dying and destroying land around them.
Also - this mustang is on a rancher’s land. They need that land for livestock. The owner, T, is probably begging that rancher not to kill her so she can get a chance at life. This mare probably has worms, poor dental health, dehydrated and somewhat starved. These guys are prey animals and will absolutely book it if they feel threatened. Looks can be deceiving.
These guys are trying to help her out. She’s not on protected land anymore, her life is not secured.
@@cult9998 ranchers are so greedy about the land. Cattle destroy the land more than the horses do. They crap in the water holes, eat everything down beyond the roots. She just wants to be free where she belongs. Most of the cattle ranchers graze on federal lands so why cant they share?

They aren’t greedy.. You need about 3 acres of land per livestock (horse or cow) for them to remain healthy, not overcrowd, and to give the land some time to grow back after being grazed upon. And every animal poops in water? Animals do that, it’s a thing. Also, ranchers depend on their OWN acres and need a Grazing Permit if they want to put their cattle on federal land.
The issue of the matter is, is that this horse is on land she isn’t supposed to be on and she is not contained (point proven as she jumps multiple fences). She is owned by T, and she needs to be put on T’s land. Where she is safe, in a controlled environment, and can get the medical care that she needs.

It’s so sad that at the end in both of his throws, the rope failed to make it over her nose. It was clear after the second attempt the horses were spent and it was no use continuing as it would be dark soon. I can’t wait for a part 3. That mustang needs to go into some endurance races. The fact that she ran so far and so fast is so amazing.
Okay, but at this pont I'd just leave that poor thing alone.. Plus I wouldn't trust ANYBODY who put their ponies into that "trailer" with all their tack on, that's gonna rub and also they should know to lower their voices..

It'll be better for the horses health to be captured at least rn. She probably isn't getting the nourishment she needs out there with barely any food.
It's his/their horse. Wild horses can be wild, but domestic horses should stay domestic.

This was a really high quality episode, and by far one of your channels best next to the Burrow roping videos! Don't beat yourselves up about not getting that mustang quite yet. She had some wicked stamina, and seemingly endless energy. I can also tell those fences and gates could use a fixer-upper, given they could be jumped so easily. Your horses looked great as always, and they seem very reliable. Gotta love Broncs and Donks!!!

A year later and there’s no part 3? … could only mean one thing, and it ain’t good for that horse. I’d say the owner of that land hired someone to put it down, that or MAYBE tranquilized her and moved her.

She's in a splendid shape and she fights so hard, she deserves to stay free. Is she in any danger if she stays that way? There's absolutely no way she'll stay in a pen for the rest of her life, that would be a death sentence for her. A spirit that strong shouldn't be broken by men.
i am surprised she managed to survive for that long and that the gang manged to find her a year later i am sure her owners will have a lot of work to do to retrain her again after a year in the wild but I'm sure it'll be worth it just to have her back again but geez she's a smart one able to outsmart you guys twice lets hope the third time is the charm
You can take a mustang out of the wild, but you can't take the wild out of the mustang. Of course the horse survived.

I have several horses of my own, and I am a English writer and I do not think western is the best, but I was very surprised with how great these writers are, and the way they treat their horses. Normally I always say western is like the worst ride but at this point I’d say it’s not that bad so prefer English I know a lot of people like western a lot of people like English depends on what you like but I’m very impressed.

You guys were so close to catching that Mustang. I liked your plan to catch her on the first day. Although I would have done one thing differently. I would of had one person on the opposite side of the fence/ the side the horse was not on. That way the horse would hopefully not jump the fence. That person would follow the horse on the other side of the fence, and if the horse did jump over the fence then they could chase her without having to go through a gate first. Witch would save time and distance between them and the horse.
What a vlog guys u had me hanging on the edge of my seat with excitement so close far out u would wonder where she's pullin all that extra stream from making u all work Ur butts off she's still getting away thus was one entertaining vlog loved every single second of it :)
