The Lady in Red on a run up Banner Grade.
Went out on a day ride through some of San Diego County's best roads. Banner Grade is a good road with some awesome turns. On this particular day it was a bit dusty and dirty so I kept it mostly mellow. This is 1 of 4 videos I will be posting in the coming days. Hope you enjoy the view as much as I enjoyed riding through it.

Gorgeous bike
You're a great rider - not being a dick to others, holding good lines, not crossing the double yellow, courteous etc - it's great to see such a great bike in the hands of a great rider!
I've got a tricked-out GT1000 and ride in the San Bernardino mountains all the time just like this - give me a shout if you ever want a riding partner.
That awesome old school Ducati sound. I ride a 2013 Monster 696 and I wish it sounded this good. Even with carbon fiber termis my bike doesn't sound as good as this.
That sound… Such a nice bike
Very cool riding :)
カッコいいですね~🙂👍
your bike just sounds INCREDIBLE. TOP!!! and nice riding too.
looks and sounds great. nice lines through those curves.
Cool sounds and views @ Banner !
Perfect video because no annoying shit music drowning the bike sound
Great video, bike sounds real sweet as a Ducati should. I do envy your weather...sat here in the British winter. We were in San Francisco last February sure miss the sun / warmth.
i love your bike and i love your videos.
i saw this bike in tron: legacy and i love it
greetings from germany :D
I used a Zoom H4N sound recorder. It's pretty big but I managed to stuff it inside my jacket. I do need to get a wind protector for it because it still records some rustling.
Thanks! I got the bike like that when I bought it. They are risers but I don't know from where. They do help on long rides. I rode from LA to San Francisco last year without any discomfort because of set up.
Thanks! The weather this time of year is mostly good so taking advantage of it is a must. Stay warm out there!
Takes me back to the days when i had my 600 Pantah,
The twisties beat the straights anyday
I bet this camera doesn't do the L twin justice and yet still sounds great.
Lovely ride! Lovely bike! lovely weather! :) I have a Ducati Sport Classic 1000 '06 myself and i see you clip-ons are much higher than mine. I use the stock clip-ons, what are you using? the higher clip-ons from Ducati Performance making easier/less painfull for long rides?
Thanks!
Great video! What did you use to record that beautiful DS1000 music?
Awesome video. What kind of forks are those?
They are from a Monster. :-)
HangarFour Thanks for the reply. S2R 1000? Just curious because I'm looking for fork swap options.
Lee Trautt Honestly, I can't remember too well. I think so. I do know that they are very rare to find nowadays. I would look on the forums to see what all is said for fitment.
I think they are off of a S2R. If you look in the forums you can find out what fits and what doesn't. I would look for a part number but I am not near the motorcycle.
HangarFour thanks! Just bought a set of the s2r 1000 forks. Couldn't decide between that or the s4...don't like anything with anodized gold on it even with the rust issue. I appreciate your time; ride safe!
Is the bike comfortable ?
Depends on what you consider comfortable. You are leaned over more on this and the rear sets sit a little bit higher.
For me the weight coming on my wrist is no good but just the way this bike looks ..Man love it... everything is ok with it ...I would accept it in that riding position.
I am using a lowering seat right now on my ducati to just be able to flat foot my bike so the handle bars have gone up so quite comfortable than the stock position of the bike.
