16 actual miles! One of the lowest mile 1978 Corvette Pace Cars in existence. All original survivor- paint, tires, the window sticker is still in the window! Other documentation includes original build sheet, inspection, registration receipt, warranty booklet and glovebox pouch filled with manuals.
EXTERIOR: Really sharp colors, wheels and glass tops. All original condition. No body damage at all, not even on the rubber bumpers. The original paint shows very well. It has the Pace Car decals on the doors. Weatherstrips are still soft. The mirrored tops are unique to the Pace Car and are mint. The aluminum wheels are still brightly polished.
INTERIOR: I sat in one when I was 8 years old and thought I was in a spaceship because of the bright silver. It looks practically new. Soft leather seats and steering wheel. It has the optional stereo and CB, what's your handle? There are no smells. In back there is a damaged area in the carpet. T-top bags are in the back. Features include power windows and locks, rear defrost, tilt-telescopic wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very original, clean preserved condition. Of course it has #s matching 350. Every component is factory. Overall excellent unrestored condition. Optional cruise control.
UNDERSIDE: Very well preserved all original condition. It still has assembly line markings. Never been spray canned over. Original shocks, exhaust, suspension etc. Spare tire carrier is complete.
One of the lowest mile 1978 Corvettes in existence. This car has been privately owned, never judged. It's ready to win all the survivor awards. I'm certain it won win the coveted Benchmark. You would have some bragging rights with this one!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

Always liked those wheels also
Neighbor had one of those when I was a kid. Always liked that color combo and year
One of my favourite dream cars 😍. 15 miles on the clock just makes it hard to believe 😮. Beautiful, beautiful car Jay!
What do you say except OMG, 15 miles, window sticker, pace car, 25th anniversary edition, I guess it’s true the one with the most toys wins or something like that. Just being able to look and drive this icon would be awesome, of course you would have to have a environmentally suitable home for this piece of performance and historical value great job 😂as usual thanks!
Needs to be driven!!!!!
15 miles? Not sure I like that. Cars are meant to be driven. Anybody agree?
Superb stunning vette amacing from the batcave 🦇, gourgeus brand New car 🤟 😊 😊 thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum from tom your friend always 🤩 🤩 USA 😎 ☀️ 💎
I remember telling my dad that he should buy one when they came out and just put it away... If my memory serves me correctly, the sticker price on these were $25,000
Unfortunately it's taken decades for this car to appreciate in value above the original sticker price..
Actually the sticker was less than that but people were trying to sell them for that amount. My new 78 was $11,000.00 and it was an L82. This one is an L48.I think the sticker was around $14,000.00
I had a 79 L82. Put 120,000 miles on it, sold it. Saw it at a dealership advertising 40k miles.
I see original type tires on this car with less than 50% tread for what I can tell on pictures. Might should check tread depth
Beautiful Vette!! 👍👍
Wow we filmed one of these on Monday, exact same care, now it's for sale here, do you know How we can check it's original, it's got the 2 way for talking to the control tower at the race track, it has everything this has, only missing decals Official Pace Car, has the date on the Door, any help would be extremely grateful, gorgeous car Jay, talk soon 👊 Cheers 🥂🍻 KC 🇦🇺🤝🇺🇸😎😊👍
This vehicle belongs in a Car Museum ‼️👍🇺🇲Call Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld ‼️😉
Hey!!! It's in our museum right now. 😜 But hopefully finds a new garage soon.
I’m going to keep my comments to myself on this one. I like Jay too much.
I'm also gonna keep my comment to myself on this one. Jay's a good guy.
I said it for ya
I had a new 78 Vette and the paint sucked. It was not until 1980 when they moved production to Kentucky and they went to base coat clear coat.
That looked like rust from a leak
This paint on this car reminds me of an Orca, AKA the killer whale.
A car you can’t drive
Oh man, it’s not a L 82… lol
