I too did a 40 day fast- after I got divorced & became very depressed. I needed God - Change & a new direction. I did liquids only no dairy- basically water, teas, black coffee. It changed the whole trajectory of my life- I came out, with a plan, purpose, happiness, joy- insight & spiritual connection that was beyond explanation. I frequently fast these days for a week or so for clarity and to connect with Spirit & God.

God is great! I fasted a 15 day fast back in 2004 and 33 day fast and then a 40 day fast water only. The fasts started to grow in my life and my wife’s life and of my family and ministry and was changing rapidly. Five months after the fast we had an emergency where a baby that we had in orphanage in Mexico was born premature and weighed 2lbs. At 1 year old he had pneumonia, sleep apnea, and severe allergies, and let us know that he wasn’t going to make it. He died, and the whole orphanage was crying. I went running to see what happened, and he was dead. We laid hands on him, and I lifted him up to God no matter what happens we were going to serve Jesus to the fullest, and we prayed for him, and the baby came back to life And it’s been a tremendous miracle and we adopted him and he’s now 18 years old. I’ve been fasting for 19 years. My entire life has changed completely. It’s been miracles after miracles.

Please be careful, I’ve seen fasting videos/stories where people have had toxic bodies and went completely on a pure water fast , resulting in kidney failure. Since you have been on a fast for 18 days, Doctors recommend a refeeding time. My personal experience would recommend a minimum of 9 days of juices. There is a brand called Suja if you are not able to juice. Please don’t introduce solid food until you have had 3-7 days of juices, followed by 3-7 days of puréed, then slowly introducing solid food.
My friend and I started a 40 days fast. Please keep us in prayers. We need empowerment from above.

I had a problem with drinking and smoking even after I got saved. I fasted 3 days dry fast. It continued. I did 10 days liquid fast. I would stop for short periods. Then the urges would get the better of me. Then in 2021 I did the Daniel fast. I stopped smoking completely since then. But after 6 months started drinking again. I'm watching this video today because this is the first day of my 40 days fast to defeat the demon of alcohol. Please pray 🙏🙏🙏 with me and for me. I believe it is a generational curse because my dad suffered from it. And now my sons are too. I want to be the one to break it.❤❤❤ Thanks 🙏

Fasting healed my body and carbohydrates junk food addiction also traumas I had that caused the addictions. My husband healed his as well and our marriage is so much closer after my 40 day plus smaller fasts after the big fast! It works, I live a fasted lifestyle and look forward to my coaching ministry healing others get through the same issues. God is so good❤🙏🏾🙏🏾

@@xxmimoxx32 shoot.. day 0 unfortunately. I stopped it after day 3 not because I was concerned but because my work had planned a bunch of little outings for us. I’m interning for them. Im a college student so when my tennis season is over (oct 14) I’m going to do 40 days. If you’re willing to wait until then, We could do it together. I did the 21 days with a couple people from a church ministry. That helped a lot. They made it to day 8 but I didn’t know until day 21. Just knowing I wasn’t alone helped a lot. I range between 160-165lbs

I did my first dry fast (no food, no water) for 50 hours a few weeks ago, and it was life-changing. And yes, many things happened "fast" from improved health to muzzling the mouths of roaring lions at work. I prefer a dry fast over water fasting as I don't have to worry about electrolyte imbalance. GOD made our bodies in His perfect image, which means, I refer to the Bible and use the examples of how biblical characters like Esther fasted. Esther fasted for three days and nights, and saved the Jewish people from slaughter. Imagine what Christians could do if we all fasted like Esther.

I did a 3 day dry fast a few years ago and it was amazing. You have to be careful but I found it was easier then a water fast. Most definitely electrolyte balance plays a key role.

dry fasting is AMAZING but the powers that be sure like to demonize it. Certainly it's intense but very powerful. If you even speak of it online you get BLASTED, ridiculed and they want to burn you at the stake. That's how I know it's GOOD for me.
This is amazing! I did close to a month fast in 2010 when I was suffering severe scrupulotisty/ religious OCD/ blasphemous thoughts. I thought God I know you have answered so many of my prayers and I don't know if all this stuff in my head is me or demonic- I'm going to get free or die trying I was so desperate. I told the Lord I would only eat if He provided the food by the hands of others. I would only eat if someone actually offered me food. The next day at work- and this had never happened before- one of my coworkers said "Hey we went to Jack-in-the-box and we got this extra sandwich. Do you want it?" I KNEW God had heard me and was going to take care of me. I gladly accepted the food. The next day my mom asked me if I wanted a fruit cup. I hated fruit cups! But I was so THANKFUL for this one! I spent hours everyday after work in my room face down in prayer, pleading for deliverance, all the while my thoughts racing in the background. And He faithfully provided one serving of food per day for nearly an entire month. Only 1-3x did I have nothing. And my deliverance surely came soon after! God is amazing!

@@gordonmarshall3218 you need to believe. When you fast even access skin is shrinking. I know people whose tumors completely vanished. You have to believe. Make sure you don’t hold offense and ur heart had forgiven everyone. Also break all generational curses in Jesus name. Healing from cancer can be painful too. I know a lady who was in terrible pains for 3 days while her cancer was getting healed. Receive your complete healing in Jesus name! Praise him and rejoice! Proclaim the victory over the enemy daily!

Did a 30 days fast only 4-5 hours a day a couple years ago. (Had a lot of health issues, just off a feeding tube and underweight) God honored that and cast a demon out of me in a vision on the morning of the 31st day. Fasting again, need to focus on Him again. Thank you for the encouragement!!!

@@NostalgiNorden Yup. I was strictly focused on God those hours, but it was what I could medically do with how much I weighed. God honored it. Sometimes I just skip a snack and focus on him that's a bit of fasting/prayer for me and God. To me it was really encouraging that God wasn't sitting their with his arms crossed saying, "really? I cant believe you didn't do a liquid diet/skip all food(etc)." He wasn't cruel/judgemental. He was gentle/delighted I was trying after being so ill. He was eager to answer, steadfast in loving kindness, full of grace & not judgements. He is who he says he is. God bless ❤️

God called me to fast for 40 days. I broke today on day 16😢 but i have decieded to continue the rest regardless. Hopefully i will make it the whole way next time. It wasnt worth breaking and after i did the spirit of addiction came back and i smoked a cigarette. I pray to be set free from cigs & drinking!
Give yourself a huge pat on the back...16 days! That's fantastic! In my opinion, all fasting get's rewarded so don't be quick to judge results too soon. You did great things in the spirit realm and it often takes time to manifest in the natural. Keep going!!! My friend was going 21 days and broke it - I told her keep going!! Don’t let the devil lie to you, keep going. The devil tried to kill me this morning so I would stop fasting. I cried out to the Lord and He immediately healed me of dizziness. It was amazing. Keep going and when you feel like you can’t, cry out to Him! He’s our ever present help!!
I have been fasting 3 days a month for 6 months and plan on continuing.I get some kind of spiritual breakthrough every time! I have done 5 days. I would like to do longer periods and will. This was an inspiring video.
20 yrs ago I too would do a monthly 3-day fast the first through the third and I would love to do that again. It was my tithe until God.
You are missing out completely, day 3 to 5 is the worst, then it gets easier and benefits increase.

It is always unnerving for me when I think I'm called to fast because it always seems to be just before a tragedy or intense spiritual battle so it makes me squirm.
Thank you for sharing. I am on day 6 of 40. I was called to a 40 day fast in 2016 a year after I started researching Biblical cosmology. I became very confused and knew I needed the WORD of GOD and to crucify the flesh so I started several fasts over the next 3 years.
Not ever completing the 40 days. I did several smaller ones (trying to do the 40) but still have not succeeded. The longest one prior to the one I am on now I broke at 26 days. Again in 2019 I did a 21 day but felt I was called to a 40. I was not sure if it was me and my thoughts or if GOD really was calling me to fast for 40 days so I kept explaining it away.
Fast Forward to November 30, 2022 While praying asking God that IF it was HIM that wanted me to do this extended 40 day fast please make it CRYSTAL CLEAR & that's exactly what happened. No more excuses, God spoke LOUD AND CLEAR and I am sorry that I was such a numbskull, doubting Thomas and even rebellious child. So, here I am on day 6 and yes, my FLESH is so weak. I do not have the power to do this at all. The HOLY SPIRIT is the only way I made it this far and please PRAY for me to get to day 40! I cannot mess this one up! Every moment I am leaning on JESUS. Thanks again for sharing! I have to watch fasting videos between, praying and immersing myself in the WORD as not to give up or give in! 😊

@@humbug4478 My husband broke his fast on day 7 which he was only doing a fast to support me and to get his blood sugar regulated so it's fine but it was really wonderful having him doing it with me. Day 13 all glory do GOD. I'm wondering if I can chew on a piece of celery without swallowing the fiber? I would love to crunch on something refreshing but I'm not sure that juice will be a fast breaker?

I broke my fast at 7 today. I need to try again. Please keep me in prayers. Going through crazy custody battle with my ex who is possessed by demons and bond to his Jazbel mother. Praying he gets delivered and saved. Pray Abba gives me full custody of my child so I can protect her , and raise her in Yahuah’s ways. I really want to do this fast.

Fasting allows your body to put digestion on hold so your body can put more effort into healing. Some illnesses do require food to get through though.

I am starting my 40 day fadt on tuesday , i prepared by eating clean. I given up smoking and ive done many fasts and i do fast to get closer to God .
Well I just started my 40-day water fast I've done a 21 day water fast but never a 40 day I'm only on my third day. I just walk around I don't really feel anything I am a Spirit-filled believer in Jesus Christ 20 years thought I was pretty radical but new there's no way I'm going further without this 40-day water fast I'll keep you posted. Love your story! I did a 33 day fast in 2018. I did a 19 day in November and healed a health issue. On day 2 of a new fast… this one I am in need of some breakthroughs. Aiming for 40… in 40 days my first grand baby is due to be born. So he is in my prayers for this fast as well. 🙏❤️

I am on day 2 of a 40 day fast. The most I have done is 9 days. I was a vegan for 3 years and the Lord released me from that sting hold. He said, it’s not what goes into your mouth but what comes out of it.
I know he has been preparing me these past few weeks for this without me realising. Then our Church called a fats. 20-40 days. Whatever we can do. Now I am so encouraged and really need healing in so many areas for my family. I know God will come through when we are obedient. Amen.

I have CPTSD and DID. I’ve been doing intermittent fasting for sometime now. I’m going to do a 40 day fast soon. I’m a woman 31, that longs to be married and to not live in fear. I want to have kids and be closer to God.
I’m petite and have about 40lbs to lose even though I don’t look like it, so I should be able to go through with my 40 day fast.
Good for you for being so brave! You can do this! Papa God put the desire for marriage and children into your heart so He will make it happen at the right time. (My wife was 35 when we got married.) Let fasting bring you close to Papa God, so he can continue preparing you for marriage.

GOD is good, I was worried about breaking my fast because I had a restaurant reservation at 5pm with my friends and I couldn’t get in any earlier and I don’t eat after 6pm until the following day. Low and behold I checked in and got in 30min early and we all got out before 6pm., mind you the restaurant was full and very busy that day. GOD did that for me so I don’t have to break my fasting.

That’s what I did I asked Jesus to help me and He has! I started with every Friday fasting, and then I did every Wednesday and Friday and now I do much longer fasts without a problem at all❣️
I love how I feel when I'm fasted. My mind feels so much sharper and alert. The longest I've fasted so far is three days but that's because I'm a diabetic and my sugars usually start dropping a lot around day three. I would like to do a long fast like 40 days eventually but I need to work up to that.
As long as it’s not the diabetes where your pancreas is dead you should be fine if you keep working at it

Wow! That’s awesome. I’m currently on day 11 of water/green tea fast. This is the longest I’ve done so far. Not sure I can do 40 days. I will keep going as long as I’m feeling good.

First time I fasted was 2018, 6 days! It was eye opening. From that point on, I fast about 3 times a year (extended fast such as 7, 14, 21). The last fast I did was 21 days, just water and 8 ounce apple juice twice a day. God spoke to me during fast, revealed a lot about myself and told me I can do more days but didn’t tell me when. Two months after I ended the 21 days, God says January 1, do 40 days. So I am on day 5/40 days. So far, I am pretty emotional but at same time feel peace and can feel Holy Spirit guiding me. I know HE is cleansing me (thus reason I feel like I am so emotional/crying) This one really feels different. Thank you for your testimony! I cannot wait to see what God is going to do/take me after this fast 💙🙏🏽

That’s great you felt those things but that’s not a real fast drinking apple juice you have to actually fast and restrict any form of calories only water that’s it and electrolytes a pinch of salt under your tongue every morning is all you need and also a multivitamin without sugars or calories is okay too but apple juice is not a real fast it’s a lie
Can you still work a job on a 21 or 40 day water Fast? Is there a risk of passing out? I work in an office, no manual labour, but I'm still concerned.

If you want them gone, repent for entertaining them, on your behalf and on behalf of any ancestor who opened the door to them (it's not your fault). Then command them all to be bound and silenced in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. As Papa God leads, tell them all to leave you, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Ask Papa for his love to fill you to overflowing. You are awesome and you can do this!

Im on day 1 of my fast. I plan on 7 days, absolutely 3 days minimum, but hopefully more than 7 days. I whole heartedly believe I can do more. Im looking at this as a hard reset, for my mind and body, and a way for me to get closer to God. I wasnt expecting any miracles, but since ive been doing research I see tons of people sharing their miracles. Hopefully this will be a major turning point in my life as it is for some of you.

Be encouraged! Prior to fasting, my wife prayed over me while I slept. She even put her hand on my head and I knew.

Yeah bro. I feel you. We have all messed up and done something wrong. Don’t feel sad, because there is hope. All us humans have sinned. God is real and He Loves You. Jesus is the Son of God he died on the cross for all of our sins, he was buried and he rose again. He is alive forever more. Believe on him and have everlasting life. Wheen I die I will be with him forever. If you don't believe in him before you die, when you die you will burn in hell forever. Please believe on him before it's Eternally to late. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Jesus the Son of God is the only way to heaven.
You're absolutely right it was all the Lord leading me there is no way I'm getting any further without this 40-day water fast. It's not something we would choose of Our Own but I'm excited to see what he will do even though the first three days I'm feeling absolutely nothing of course fatigued hungry not tired cuz I'm taking time away from a busy schedule to fast to seek the Lord but I'll be honest I'm pretty empty right now

Love the title of this video! I normally don’t eat every MW&F’s. I do a few week long fasts through the year. The longest I’ve gone on a water fast without supplements was 30 days.

just completed a 4 day fast for the crucifiction and resurrection.
with just water and a occasional myrrh + psyllium water blend. (gets rid of helminths)
my body usually can't fast longer then 2 days hence this was a accomplishment.
although i still had the usual symptoms when fasting for longer then 2 days, and im curious if im the only one?
they are as follows:
- Waking up seeing stars infront of me: a bright dot that is rapidly pulsing with flickering stroboscopic light , i believe this effect is due to low blood pressure.
this can sometimes last all day.
- Very shallow and shortness of breath to the point of fearing suffocation
simply barely energy left for the effort of breathing deeper , and entering a kind of hibernation state.
- Rapid to even racing heartbeat for no apparent reason.
- Sometimes nearly fainting when standing up, especially in the morning.
- General weakness, walking over a minute can just be too much for the body to handle.
ive fasted many times hence am used to the symptom however yesterday they got so strong i wasn't sure i was going to make it alive another day, was just too weak to care and i trust in holy timing, if Yah wants me in heaven so be it.
however i then drank salt water and did better.
ended it at sunset because nights are the most draining and wasn't sure i would wake up after a 5th day.
however i do wonder how Any of you can last longer then 4 days?!! thats commendable. unless you all dont have these similar common fasting - symptoms? which i would find most strange. however im rather thin henceforth perhaps i don't have the energy reserves to accomplish it.
i heared overweight people can fast much longer.
im going to attempt to increase storage and then see if i can go beyond 4.

I did a 48 hour fast. It was great and I haven’t been able to make it that long again. 2 years ago. Dinner time always gets me.
I did a 21 day water fast last year. I did it to try reverse a chronic health issue (which was probably caused by being overweight). I also made an effort to read God's word every day during the fast. I didn't reverse the chronic health issue I've been dealing with but I may have reversed some of the damage. This year I'm hoping to do a 30 - 40 day water fast to hopefully fix myself up, but of course I need to put God first.

Thank GOD, thanks for your video, I am Andy from China, I have been problem with some addiction and devil condemnation in everyday warfare, meanwhile devil is try to destroy my faith and marriage by using my unbelieving wife preventing me to church,, seems my flesh is so powerful, I always feel feared and weak, I want to be strong in Jesus Christ, but cannot....I even failed 3 days fasting lately, So recently I want to fast to breakthrough to a new level,,, I really want to get the love joy and peace of the holy spiritual fruit

Am watching this video a most needed time. It's been at least two weeks today since I am trying to fast for at least one whole day a week, to in order to deepen myself into God's will and to work on my ability to promptly obey Him. But I kid you not, even fasting till 12 noon is a serious battle for me. I need prayers and encouragements, thank you for this video.

I like your chutzpah! And, I agree with you that my concept on fasting is wayward. Just about everything Jesus did was wayward. The more wayward (from the world) I get, the more peace and joy I find!
I started fasting for my son on drugs.i get up about 6 and drink coffee and go as long as i can every day.i cant go past 7 pm ! It upsets me.Ive been working on it every day for weeks ! Then I get up in the morning and start all over.Its getting easier and blessing are popping up.I want to fast for 3 days then 7 then 21 if possible.It is GOING TO HAPPEN !

My life has been a train wreck... for all the same issues you mentioned. I suffer from CPTSD. CPTSD deals with infant/childhood trama of every kind, over a prolonged period of time. I lived in a constant state of fear, and anxiety, enduring mental, physical, spiritual and emotional torture for the first 14 years of my life. I've watched many videos on fasting, but they were all about the keto, autophagy, general health benefits and weight loss. This was the first video i've ever watched that literally focused on the obvious Spiritual connection with fasting that cannot be denied. I've fasted 7-10 days before and i actually was in the early stage of feeling like i was Cpmmuning with God. My mind was clear and the spirit was with me. I appreciate you so much for this video about your prolonged 40 day fasting and praying. This video could very well change my life, I do believe i'm ready to do a 40 day fast and pray.

Thank you for the encouraging words! The devil is afraid of us, that's why he attacked us in our youth. But God already won this battle and we're fighting back. "The weapons of our warfare (fasting, casting out, binding) are not carnal, but are mighty thru God to the pulling down of strongholds." Take all the pain caused in your childhood as a huge compliment that you are more scary to the enemy than he is to us. I pray that Papa God will restore all the years the locust have eaten (Joel 2:25) in your life with a 7-fold restoration. Amen!

I am at the beginning and have ordered Derek Prince's book on fasting. Honestly, it can't get here quickly enough. I will refer this video to others.

Fascinating how some people feel like suffering makes them better, they feel like they need to go through horrible things to be worth something.
God fearing people don't choose to go through suffering to their own accord...Jesus knows the best lessons and growth come from suffering. While fasting is not fun, it really does work
