  • A classic decoupage, as I usually do using as pastel colours as possible and lots of water.
In every tutorial I make for you, I want you to discover new things and important information. I showed you how to work with media ink in another video and now I show you how to work with metallic foil.
It's important to know that metal foil is made from a mixture of copper and zinc, and the copper in it oxidizes in air and ammonia. So it has to be glued with a special glue called mixtion and finally sealed with a special finishing varnish or a solvent-based one. It must be sealed with finishing varnish, even if you continue to paint it, even more so, some colours may contain a little ammonia in their composition, so oxidation can occur at any time.
IMPORTANT! I recommend using glossy colours if you are coating it with them, so as not to destroy the metallic shine of the metal sheet.
All the other materials you can find in the video, but if you have any questions, I'm happy to answer them in the comments, and if you like my decorations, you can find me on instagram / daniela_naftanaila
