I got a feeling that Critter Country won't be finished with its construction, until they are close to completing the Disneyland version of Tiana's Bayou Adventure later this year (possibly around October, or November).
I'm really hoping that all this concurrent construction means they're prepping for a big holiday season and possibly an even bigger 70th anniversary with no refurb season in the late winter. Probably not but could be possible.

True. They just don’t care anymore.
They don't leave props out when they do construction because they are easily damaged and are harder to work around. Also they want to put decorations out as late as possible to reduce fading and to do final touch ups right before they're viewable to the public.
It’s horrible. They don’t have to worry about me this summer. Not worth the trip.
