- A complete tour of my new music room. You will see how I displayed my vinyl records and have an overview of my hi-fi setup. It includes a VPI prime turntable, a McIntosh C2600 pre amplifier, a McIntosh 275 amplifier and Klipsh forte 3 speakers.
I love your vinyl rack! That is my dream to have something like that for my cd collection too. I love how itll feel like browsing a record store while going through your collection

The sweet but robust McIntosh 275 tube amp is a great match for the Klipsche Forte.

Thanks for watching and commenting. McIntosh amplifiers are fantastic, so is the the VPI turntable. It took me 30 years of collecting and listening to music before moving to such high end equipment. I went through many others before and improved over time. Still have plans for another turntable, speakers, an additional MC275 amp and MC cartridge. Just need to get the founding 😰

Very cool music room love that VPI and McIntosh amps beautiful. Those vinyl bins you slide out are excellent never seen those here in the states I definitely have to look out for those it excellent with space I really enjoyed it take care . Lovellandrew
lovell andrew. Thanks for your comments. When I was leaving in the US I found on internet a company doing similar racks but there were just too expensive. As I mentioned in the video, I did a drawing of what I wanted and went to a shop building furniture for kitchens. At the end got the 3 racks, each having 9 drawers for the price of 1.

Amazing setup! One hell of a man cave! Really like your Vinyl racks! I'm currently considering buying the Klipsch floor standing RP-5000F speakers. Blown away by the McIntosh tube pre amp & amplifier!!!

The second I noticed that Fatal Portrait lp I knew your collection would be sweet. Also, nice Accept collection. They write the best riffs. Seriously under-rated band.
Fully agree, accept is a wonderful band and UDO a great vocalist. Are you US based? It is true that beside balls to the wall they didn’t sale so much. In Europe they did pretty well. One of my favorite song is princess of the dawn. UDO did solid solo albums as well. Take care and stay safe.
@@thevinylsofoz6338 oh yeah totally. Everything UDO did on his own is amazing too. Timebomb from the early 90's is sooooo sick - those guitar tones are just unreal.
Holy shit dude I've never seen perforated gyp in someone's home. I've used that in commercial settings where a dropped acoustical ceiling wouldn't cut it. That stuff is very good.

Hi, yes I have Almendra, Pappo s blues, billy bond, color Humano and many others. There were some great bands in Argentina in the 70s. Love your country, use to go to Buenos Aires frequently some years ago, nice city with good vibe.

Hi Kristoffer, I didn’t build them myself. I made the drawings and went to a company who is building kitchen furnitures. They build them for me.

Must've been insane bringing over your hifi and vinyl collection to multiple countries. Was it very hard? Or with the right preparation was it easier?
Would not say that it was easy, but have some special plastics box I bought some years ago and add with time as collection was getting larger. This boxes are not special for vinyl but fit perfectly to the size. It is as well heavy plastic so really solid and stackable. All was done through see freight twice and I didn’t have any issue. Beside that I moved as well the collection between different houses. Over the last 30 years I moved 17 times. Hope that it is the last :-)

I used to leave in the US and when I moved back I had a 40ft container so don’t know about transport cost for those specific equipments. Same for taxation as it was part of furniture I owned for few years in the US it is not taxed. Thanks for watching

Any one visiting this video can most likely relate to what you have built and how it means a lot to you because of the personal nature of what you have collected. It is a timeline of your life when you really think about it!
I am very interested in the plans for your record storage units. I have a retired woodworker friend with a full shop who is always looking for a "project" and I am more than happy to provide him with some work. LOL!.

@@thevinylsofoz6338 Thank you! I am using the IKEA Kallax units right now, but would prefer the style that you have built where you can view the record covers and flip front to back. Like you mentioned, it brings back "the good old days" of hunting for records at "the record store". Hope you do find those plans. :)

WHat fascinates me is that many of these music room tours involve expensive sound systems but not the most comfortable listening chairs, and the vinyl is hard rock or heavy metal. I would focus on Jazz / Blues / Classical / Prog-rock, and get an arm chair with arms.... Les goûts ne sont pas à discuter!
