Why don't you use Temp in the function? With Temp variable, you will be able to latch

Temp function is ok until you are using bool data type/or any normal calculation. That's why you will able to latch it. But if you will try to define data type like Timer, counter and any other function block then it will not work.

If your program containing any calculation, timer, counter anything with variables use FB. If you are having only on/off logic, move, compare etc then you can use FC. or also you can call FB into FC
