Ya, that's called a professional. Adam's job is to be a good host and provide entertaining content. He has views but knows when to push and how to be appropriate and respectful to people he disagrees with. Try it sometime Dipshit.
On the flipside, Gene was ok doing an interview with Adam, knowing Adam's stance on the covid policies.
At the end of the day though, Adam knows how to play the Hollywood game. I agree that even if Gene is a hero of his, the Truth Yeller should've asked him if he wants to walk back any of his Covid comments, but you can bet that if it wasn't brought up, there were pre-conditions.
Adam is respectfully of his guests. This is not Crossfire.

Styx is almost the anti-KISS, but that honor is reserved for KISS' earlier tour mates, Rush.
@@JoeCrow5542 seems correct. That was the same time and it was the first new album I bought. My older brother had all of the older stuff, so I knew all of their material. Mom found it kind of loud, but she enjoyed Styx quite a lot.

Gene is a great guest, especially talking about music history. Its okay to leave politics at the door sometimes, youre not going to agree with everybody 100% of the time.
What's not to like about this episode? It's Gene Simmons! He's an older person who comes from a generation that trusts that the government vaccines are safe he doesn't really know any better. Give him a break. It's cool Adam got him on the show. It was a good conversation! Right?
I totally enjoyed it. Laughed at every stupid joke. I’ll give him a pass on the earlier brainwashing. The next few years will be very educational for a lot of folks.
I went to see Kiss in 1976 with my mom and dad who took me at 10 years old....
I found Gene to be funny and a great guest. Knowing Adams views on things if he still had him on then i dont see why others cant just enjoy a good guest.

I never took Kiss seriously but always liked Simmons and his voice. Cool guy.
Gene came from nothing and hugely appreciated everything that America had to offer, especially the opportunity to make something of himself - which of course he did, in spades! Nothing was given to him or his band. Lots of talent, hard work, ingenuity, and perseverance, resulted in kiss, climbing the ladder and making it to the top. People threw tomatoes and many other things at kiss when they first started, but that just made them work harder to read better songs and become better musicians, as well as put on a better show. Over the years they spent millions on their shows in order to add a whole new level of excitement to their concerts that no other band had done. Few if any of you out there could do anything even close to what gene was able to accomplish in his lifetime. So he deserves our respect and not the hate and stupid from the many young tweedle dumbs out there who obviously know nothing about him and what he went through to get ready at today.

My first Kiss concert was at MSG in NYC and The Sammy Hagar Band opened. They were booed off, and I remember Hagar saying F you to us as he walked off. We were happy they left.
I was maybe 14. My Grandpa gave me 20 bucks to go and scalp tix. So I rode the train to MSG from Elizabeth. I got really great loge seats for $20!! (Orig price $5.50)
I had no idea Gene was a Hungarian, til much later, so we have that in common along with other things, including I write and play rock music even into my old age now.
Thanks Gene and Kiss for making my youthful years fun and interesting despite having grown up poor as dirt.
I still have the orig Kiss Alive album at home, and on CD in my truck. LOL. You guys were the highlight of my high school years, as well as many of my classmates'. Fun music, fun times!

Caught you one year in Irvine Ca and I was kinda dazed on cikaden because of a recuperating broken arm and was able to sneak my way close. Was a great show loudest show that I can remember 🎉🎉

Gene's first solo album is incredible - great melodies and homages to his influences (Beatles etc . . .) a great variety of songs - I think it's underrated for sure.
PS - If Gene ever reads this... we were raised in the same way and I love his Magyar cussing! I do cook Hungarian, all my Grandma's recipes, which were her mother-in-law's. We could be like brothers!! Love you Gene!! People don't get you, but I do!

I gotta give it up to gene, worked security for 12 years, saw just about every band, yeah KISS was fun, but, gene would walk around backstage before the show, talk to any worker, ask how things were going, and would take photos and sign things for the staff if they asked and was just a down to earth dude.

@@Red_Twizzler IDK how old you are but, when we were growing up in the '70's, no one listened to KISS. It was Zeppelin, ELP, Tull, BOCult, YES, Foghat, ZZTop, Lynryd Skynrd, etc... real rock bands.
KISS had a following, but it was not the Stoners who followed them. It was girly girls & girly boys.
And I played guitar in rock bands starting in '74. I couldn't even name one KISS song.

Adam, I’ve written to you in the past about the power of daily brisk walking, I guess you didn’t take me seriously. You’re obviously a Kiss fan, look at Gene Simmons. Does he look different than he did a few years ago? Does it seem like he’s somehow aged in reverse?
Look at current images of the rest of the band sans makeup, do they somehow look old and young at the same time? Do they seem like they have energy? Or are they winding down like aging clocks?
If you practice walking briskly everyday the mathematical benefits will payoff like compounding interest. You want to walk briskly, making sure to swing both of your arms while using your eyes for things both near and far. Open your eyes slightly wider while you’re walking and remember to always have fun.
A best of AC/DC playlist will give you an idea of pace. An Apple Watch and closing your rings is cheaper than any trainer or gym. Underdress for the occasion or you’ll overheat, feel sick and quit. Remember to stay hydrated.
That’s it, it really is that simple. And it’s sustainable for life.

Here, we've got your boiler plate old people ... wearing old people clothes with slippers on the wrong feet, with grey messy hair(if they're lucky), sad, confused, or plain gone in the head.
But in Hollywood, you've got the exact same old bodies, but with all these grotesque affectations ... fake hair styled and dyed as if they're 30, ... wearing inappropriate clothes and shoes like they're 30 ... using words like they're 30.
It's like me turning up at a super car meet-up, with cardboard cut-outs sellotaped over my 21 year-old Volkswagen Bora and a grainy cassette of fake engine sounds playing on a loop, seriously expecting to pass it off as a brand new Lamborghini Huracan instead of the knackered old shit heap it is.
