The fact that a person was able to keep those cereal boxes in such great condition for so lomg and eventually sell them for a few dollars is crazy.
Probably a collector and decided to sell
You guys should watch the movie ThePezOutlaw he worked as a machinist at a factory and started collecting cereal boxes like that kept them in mint condition then moved on to Pez Dispensers and made 1million dollars while the president of Pez tried to have people track him down. It’s a great story.
Yeah, all the boxes he picked up go for $80+. I managed to pick up a 1997 Jurrasic Park empty cereal box for $7 a few years back.

Retro Rick never fails. Always coming across some amazing items. That was a solid day of shopping. Who would have thought to save boxed candy and cereal boxes. Edges were straight like a razor and the colors still remained the same. That part were your son looked sad was priceless. Hahaha.

Your dad has great taste 57 chevy is on my ultimate dream car list! I considered a 2 door 57 nomad near me last year but my dream japanese sports car lives in my little single car garage couldn't let one sit outside! I plan to be just like your dad with atleast 4 more bays would be awesome to have a garage tour as a mechanic myself regardless of if he just collects or wrenches aswell!

The holy grail in cereal boxes for me is the Kellogg’s cornflakes snes starfox one from the early 90s. I recall being fascinated live action looking puppets of starfox

Almost every big antique store in michigan tends to have a jard food area. You should come to lansing michigan and come to the mega mall. It is MASSIVE.

I would kill for that captain crunch box I remember my mom sending away for that power rangers watch when I was in elementary school and getting it and feeling like the cool kid playing it during lunch with my friends. Such nostalgia

Rick always puts games/videos back on the shelf completely backwards of how they were. Drives me nuts.
Not weird on the local food items. A lot of our vendor malls sell local honey, jams, and other preserved foods. The only thing is they have to all be local. Good way for those farmers and bee keepers to make extra money without wasting products.
A ‘57 Chevy and LiL Red Express are two pretty heavy hitters. The Lil Red Express was the fastest production vehicle the year it came out.

You should pick up a few cars just to have in the store. A lot of people are nostalgic for them and they’ll spend good money on the right Cars.

there's a flea market I've gone to in Ohio that has a booth that sells canned stuff. Usually see it more in rural areas here than in the city. Not just a thing in the south.
