I wanted to do something a little different this week, so I added a layer of soft piano music to this coffee shop ambience! (I'm not sure if this artwork was meant to be a coffee shop, but I didn't know what exactly to call it (though "Cozy Coffee Corner" or "Coffee in the Not-So-Sunny Sun Room" works too, if you will!). I didn't add the typical background sounds to this one, just the rain, distant rolling thunder and piano music for ultimate relaxation. Grab a book and enjoy your time in this rainy day coffee shop with piano music playing and rain tapping against the window.

This is one of the greatest ambience perfections on CZcams. Even with the music, it keeps the music UNDER the ambient sound level so as not to be the main thing you hear. It's like the best of both worlds for those of us who prefer the natural sounds over music.

I come back to this video a lot. Like more than I'm supposed to. This specific video tends to help me fall asleep, it really seem to relax me and calm me down. It helps me not to overthink, or think at all. I also come here when I'm reading, it helps me focus on the story and doesn't get me distracted.
I'm a rain lover, anything with rain really gets me in the mood. Same thing goes to thunder and more.

When I lived in Germany, I used to visit a coffee shop in Giessen called Mr. Jones. It's right across from the train station and so is a fantastic place to sit and people-watch. Some of my finest days was sitting at a table in the corner, looking out the window and watching ripples form from raindrops in puddles. Oh, I'd bring a book and intend to get some quality reading time in over a cup of coffee. But I'd usually watch people and ripples instead.
If you're ever in Giessen, you could do a lot worse things than spend a few hours at Mr. Jones.
This sounds absolutely idyllic! I must visit Giessen sometime in the near future. And I completely know that feeling of, "I'm going to get some quality reading done," only to spend the entire time people watching, ha!
Sounds like it must have been a wonderful happy time for you.....we all deserve something in our lives that we can look back on and smile.

I just love the energy in this comment section. I hope you all are doing okay. Even if times are dark right now, you are not alone, keep pushing forward you're going to make it and everything is going to get better with time. Life is complicated and maybe yours doesn't have a goal to live for yet, but that doesn't mean that you will never find it. Keep looking for your goal, when you find it you'll know it. It will feel like something perfect for you like it was made just for you to enjoy it. Stop caring what people think because vpeople actually don't care, you can dance around the street and people are going to forget about it after 5 minutes, don't let people tell you how to act, how to dress, how to sit, how to eat... You are not anybody's property. You are your own person, your own hero. Even when the world kicks you hard you have to get up and try again, don't let other people make you think you are not worthy just because you're overweight, underweight, tall, short, black, Asian, loud, or quiet. Let other people think what they wanna think nobody is imperfect and nobody is perfect. Even if there's no sunlight in your life right now follow that little bit of light you see and it should lead you to the surface, you'll see sunlight again and see that all that unbearable pain you went through was worth it.

So romantic! I can imagine sitting there writing my journal and look out the window, then a handsome man walk to my table and ask it’s a cozy atmosphere don’t you think? And the rest is history!
Some so calming about this picture, imagine sitting there reading a good book then setting it aside to drink tea and look out seeing the strangely comforting sight and sound of rain.

You're a young, new worker at the café you always came to when you were sad a few years ago. You just came to the café for your first day of job. You were working casually until it started raining. You loved the rain, so you came to a window and watched the rain, all these pretty lights and chilled, until your supervisor said that you need to hurry up. Your job became much easier to you in the rain. Everytime when it rained, you looked out of the window. It reminded you of your childhood memories, your old friends, all the happy memories came back when you listened to the rain and looked at the lamps in the wind.

So... for lockdown valentines day, i popped this on on my TV and "transfirmed" my living room into a tea room for afternoon tea! I LITERALLY went the full hog, laminated tearoom open signs, silk table cloth, 3 tiered cake stand with finger sandwiches, cakes, scones etc and a pot of fresh loose leaf English tea and tea lights and candles everywhere... It was probably the top valentines days I've done 🤣❤ this film just helped transform the space completely!

This is a great one! The beautiful detail of the raindrops on the windows, the gorgeous array of golden lights across the top (subtly swinging), that French press, the old-fashioned radio on the right, the touch of muted purple in the shrubs on either side, the chair that is such a satisfying shade of deep green. So sharply observed and beautifully balanced. I am adding this to my favorites list!

Since childhood, I have dreamed of having such a room, listening to the rain outside the window and sleeping.
I just love this image. Rainy day, the trees, flowers, yellow lights, table, books, coffes...
the things i would do to have this. sitting in the corner of a coffee shop, cozy in a cushioned maroon chair with my laptop open, an open document and a blinking cursor waiting for me to click the keys of my keyboard and create a story. my journal open to the first page. there's nothing written, just a neatly pressed flower taped to the page and my name. taking a sip of my iced coffee, it's cold and sweet and calm just like him. there's a half-eaten buttered croissant sitting by itself on a porcelain plate by my drink and the soft piano music accompanies the pitter patter of the rainstorm outside. the windows are wide and open and light and i can stare for just a bit, playing games in my mind and wondering which water droplet can win the race to the bottom of the glass pane first. looking up, there are people. people i've never seen before in my life, and might never see again. i'll never know their stories but it doesn't stop me from making them up in my head. the barista, a charming young girl with golden blonde hair and deep brown eyes and a bewitching smile. the name, 'charlotte' was written neatly on her name tag and she wore a silver necklace with the most peculiar looking key dangling from the dainty chain. i wonder what the key opens. perhaps a magnificent mahogany jewelry box. or maybe it opened a delicate spruce chest filled to the brim of old love letters. there's a man who walks in, wet black hair and alluring green eyes. he wears a plain black suit with faint splotches from the rain. he adjusts his blazer and elegantly walks to the counter to place his order. a golden pocket watch peaks out from his pocket. a family heirloom? a birthday present? was he rich? he certainly looked like it. maybe he was the heir to a family legacy of business and riches. why did he look so angry? my attention shifts to another man, two tables away from mine, facing me. curly brown locks of hair and long lashes hiding his faint green eyes. bearing a white turtleneck and a black satin jacket and an old looking book in his hands and if i squint my eyes hard enough i can see the title, 'wuthering heights' faded on the canvas cover. i look at these people and wonder things. have they ever been in love? what are their deepest, most curious thoughts about life? do they ever sit and just... wonder? how many languages do they speak; and if they speak more than one may they please tell me if it makes it any easier to put their thoughts and feelings into writing? or is it true, that human thought and emotion is simply too complex to ever truly try and put into words? what was it like? their first heartbreak? seven billion different people could've been there, sitting at the other table, or ordering their drink or working as a coffee shop barista, yet by chance it's these people we see. how peculiar that is, that these complete strangers we see, walking past the street, holding open the door, handing me my dinner check... how peculiar it is that we have these opportunities to make these strangers some of the people we know best in this world. because that's how we all start out, right? strangers?

I'm currently a college student studying business and I listen to this type of music/sounds when I'm studying or doing work. Today, it's a very dark and rainy day in Italy. But listening to this wonderful background music, the sun reappears and it is already warmer in our hearts. ... I find the music strangely melancholic. Evokes wistful memories of my mom & I spending time together. Going to museums, shows, concerts, shopping or just dining out. Such a long time ago.

This was my first ambient sound video and I instantly fell in love. I have since been on the hunt for other ones but nothing has really topped this one. I like how the music isn't overpowering and instead, allows the viewer to determine their own mood and feel for the moment.
Literally as the occupants and offspring of my household busy about their day around me, this is my office and my earbuds are the door XD thank u for this slice of peace while I work!

I CANNOT get enough of your videos!! Seriously, your videos like this one in particular help to relax me and lower my anxiety when I'm having a bad time dealing with PTSD. I personally think videos like this may help other veterans like myself. Thank you for sharing your videos. I'm going to fall asleep to this one. 💕
I definitely think they could help certain veterans! I really love getting comments about how these videos help people with anxiety/depression/PTSD and other struggles. Before I started making them I'd always turn to ASMR Rooms' videos when I was stressed and they helped so much. (I love her videos!) It's nice to be able to offer that comfort back to others now!

Every morning I have a cup to tea, and since I've found this I like to take a sip and close my eyes and imagine I'm somewhere like New York in autumn, with the rain coming down and I'm in some beautiful coffee shop looking out the window, the air is cold so my arms have goosebumps but I don't mind. And the sky is grey but it's such a beautiful day. I hope one day I'll come back to this and I won't have to imagine being there. Wishing everyone a gorgeous day full of love and joy ❤

Thank you so much for this! It truly was wonderful to listen to. It got me really immersed in my thoughts just from listening to this. It made me think about what I really want to do with my life. Beyond the next few years. As I am still quite young my plans and ideas will most definitely change a hundred times over as life throws me things that I may not always be able to anticipate. But I hope that I can somewhat stick to my main goals in life. Soon enough I will be able to live on my own. And when I do I will face many struggles, as well as having my own freedom to be whomever I chose to be. As long as I grow up to be happy that's all that really matters. And for all the people that have happened to fall upon this comment, thank you for reading. Don't let life get you down too hard. There will always be away to stand back up. Even if the sun is hidden behind a cloud it doesn't mean it isn't there, it just means its waiting for the right time to come out so that it can shine. Enjoy the little things there is always a way to find a small happiness in something. Everyone please have a great day/night and have a happy rest of your life.

Started listening to this one a few months ago. Sometimes, the softness of it strikes me as mournful, melancholic and nostalgic. It makes me think of my grandmother, in bittersweet way, who sadly passed away May 2022. I love her and I always feel jouful thinking about her, but heartbroken because there are no more moments to share with her, sad for the loss of what was and for the loss of what could have been and for the loss of she will not see me experience in my life going forward. I just really miss her a lot. Life is simply not the same without her here. 💔 She was the best of everything and my favorite person in the world. 🥺 Visit your grandparents as much as possible, hug them often, send them handwritten cards and letters, call them. Save as many letters, photos, videos, voice recordings, recipes, etc from them as you can while they are alive. My heart hurts that I did not visit her more, call her more or send her cards and flowers more than I did - and I went to see her several times a year.

When I lived in Germany, I used to visit a coffee shop in Giessen called Mr. Jones. It's right across from the train station and so is a fantastic place to sit and people-watch. Some of my finest days was sitting at a table in the corner, looking out the window and watching ripples form from raindrops in puddles. Oh, I'd bring a book and intend to get some quality reading time in over a cup of coffee. But I'd usually watch people and ripples instead.
If you're ever in Giessen, you could do a lot worse things than spend a few hours at Mr. Jones.

ADORE this one! It is so relaxing and perfect to have on whike reading (or potentially falling into a nap lol). My cat became mesmerized by the light bulbs and rain drops and tried to swat at them. 😅 so there's also that.
Humans are really great. We're troubled but we're good people. We really do try. If we don't, we're just mentally disabled or traumatized. I don't know what to do about those but over all we really do try really hard. I love you all.
