How do people become as mentally deficient as Destiny. It's hard to watch someone so uninformed but thinks they are informed. All he does is parrot the narrative pushed out by MSM. There is a term for it and I believe it's called the Dunning Kruger Effect. It's describe someone that's so stupid they don't know they are stupid.
Like the interview with Peterson. When someone one as even keeled and intelligent as Peterson is getting animated and frustrated with you then maybe you should pause and think about it. Like the Xperimental C19 medicine. He is 100% correct. The MSM and manufacturer did use the term Vaccine to make the public comfortable and it has Stuck but technically its MRNA technology. Not good marketing to go with MRNA.
In the last several years the MSM has been manipulating narratives to a whole new level and not for our benefit. Take that BigPharma and the MSM said IVERMECTIN was horse medicine. Well for the INFORMED we knew the game being played. We all have taken an Antibiotic in our life but so do Horses, chickens, cows, and if someone criticized U for taking an Antibiotic bcuz it's a "Horse Medicine" u wld realize the stupidity in that statement.
Destiny doesn't bother to inform himself in these situations. Bcuz if he did he would know that:
1.Pharma Manufacturers were given an Emergency Use Authorization in order to sell the "Vaccine" without going thru the 10to15yrs of normal testing required
2. If an Alternative treatments for C19 was available then the EUA becomes invalid. Since there is no money made with Ivermectin it had to be sidelined. So the Nobel Prize winning medication that's been around for decades that's used in both humans and animals had to become "horsepaste" to keep their EUA.
That's how u can tell Destiny looks no farther than what he sees on MSM and just repeats what he hears.
There needs to be an intro like Lex Fridman's podcast. I know who Richard Lewis is, but someone who doesn't know him is gonna have NO idea going into this.

I can speak to the death thing.
Dealing with death of your peers very young kind of numbs you to death.
When I was six, a very close friend died of brain cancer.
When I was 13, one of my friends was rather famously murdered.
Another classmate died my freshman year if high school in a car crash.
A teammate of mine on a very tight-knit wrestling team committed suicide my Junior year.
Another very close friend from the wrestling team succumbed to alcohol poisoning in the summer after my senior year.
The next summer another friend from the wrestling team made national headlines when an idiot threw an empty keg on a bonfire, it exploded, and metal shrapnel severed his carotid artery, and he bled out in a matter of a minute or so.
So when a friend died of COVID a few years ago, and two others from cancer a few years earlier all in my 30s by then, I barely felt anything, and that's just how I am, and there's no changing that. When my grandparents died and people were offering condolences to me at tge funeral home, for example, it just felt unnecessary, and I had no idea how to respond. If I had no awareness and no filter, my response would have been, "Why? I'm fine. People die. It sucks for a moment, then you move on."
I 100% admit this is not normal. But this is what happens when you deal with death at an incredibly young age and constantly throughout your childhood. There's no "fixing" this, but I also don't feel like I need to be fixed, since I'm aware enough to not act like a dickhead around normies.
True. 2 of my friends of 15 years died. My uncle and aunt died. You get numbed to the pain and your brain says, it doesn't matter anymore, we're all going to go there. Just enjoy what time you have.
Everything was nice until the last part, identifying your neurosis is the first part. You’ve just thrown out all the other steps and think it’s impossible to recircuit your perception around death in a more healthy way. You definitely can if you chose to, and it seems like you identify the fact it’s abnormal which would normally cause one to try and remedy it so I’m just curious why you think you shouldn’t work on it?

@@gyapaganda People are generally insulated from death, especially in younger stages of life. So it's not necessarily "normal" to have a certain awareness of it when others don't. That doesn't make it an unhealthy reaction to that experience. Getting older for most people involves some amount of hardening up against the realities of life. Not every heartbreak is gonna feel like your first love.
Destiny, this video gives me hope for your future as an interview host. Unlike past interviews, you left a lot of room for the answers and asked great follow up questions. One piece of feedback. When you ask questions you tend to immediately provide a series of possible answers to your own question. Sam Sedar does this too . Better to just ask the question and let them answer without your guiding list. Perhaps most impressively though, you were respectful to, and patient with a brit bonger.

I still miss him so much man. I used to watch reckful and soda religiously 10 years ago during the most of pandaria xpac in wow. Reckful was like a god in that game I looked up to him so much. Coming from the Counter Strike community, there's a lot of hate for Richard. I personally disagree with him a lot when it comes to CS. But these talks always remind me that we are all people and we shouldn't judge others so easily. Very good choice of cutoff time, as said colors of speakers are drowned out by the background look at petersons set again for warm earthy ideas (i think that color scheme matches what youre going for here) seeing the empty corner shot over lewis's shoulder the center of the camera is on two bottles of booze; if you like that then get a darker shelf to properly display good looking bottles (can't see what brand in camera but it looks like rail brandy lol) Destinys camera shot is almost perfect I would just say set your water bottle further away from your body

Hey Richard doubt you will read this but I just wanted to say my condolences about your friend, I caught a block from you and her just before she passed (still not really sure why only ever posted like 1 comment) and it always kind of bothered me I never got to say anything and just wanted to add that I really loved your content and appreciate your role in the league community. Maria was a big inspiration of mine grinding league ranked, Was always so impressed that she went pro basically just cause she could.
