Regarding Rook. I've seen this before in a Raymond Feist fantasy book 20yrs ago but the character was the Lord of the Eagles and wore armor resembling an eagle and there was a Lord of the Tigers which his armor was stripped and resembled a tiger. Like Picasso once said “good artists borrow, great artists steal.”
