POWERVE ( IVM S.r.l. ivmtech.it/powerve ) is an innovative measurement system designed to statically measure the weight force loaded on track by each rolling stock wheel.
Its easy installation and portability makes it perfect to use along track and at workshops, you will be able to move the system where it is needed minimizing the movements of rail cars.
It is our own invention and we manufacture it in Italy.
POWERVE is a totally new technology, useful to perform high quality measurements of the actual wheel load of a train on the rail.
It weighs directly between the rail and each wheel tyre (on the rolling circle surface), and not between the wheel flanges. In this way it weights the real load of each wheel on the rail. Given its precision and accuracy (certified overall system uncertainty less than 1%) one can easily perform a train weighing without the need of a complex and time consuming installation, moreover it can also be used to balance the train weight distribution improving rolling stock safety.
The product has been fully certified, and it is the 2016 winner of the Best Train Scale Award of WeighingReview.
