Have to give kudos to forest. We weren't great but a lot of that was down to forest, they were at us from the first minute, closing off space in the middle of the park. Steve Cooper clearly got his tactics right, fair play to em, we go again against Fulham UTV!

Please see the result as a blip but you have to understand everyone targets an easy win against us so we have to keep our underdog spirit as sharp as possible, but I've seen enough watching you at your place to know you have a very bright future ahead and will be backing you heavily to lift another European trophy this season.

Hello Villa fan here.especially in the second half we were controlling the game we had most of possesion we just couldnt create enough chances and when we did we didnt put them away.huge credit to forest tho they were fantastic when they did have the ball they made sure to get plenty of bodies up the pitch and they put away their chances fanstastic goals from them we werent aware of what was around us and didnt mark our players,best of luck to forest for this season,still 5th tho😳😊

Feared the worst before the game with Villa being in excellent form. We are a match for anyone at the CG though and tend to do better against the top teams. Good luck for the season. I can see Villa pushing hard for the top 4 this season if you stay injury free

Forest Fan. Good video. I thought tactically we were just too good for you, and the fact we scored early, helped further the tactics Cooper set up for. 2 goals that were identical to each other. Thought we could of done another 90 minutes and not seen you score.

Villa are a very good side, which makes this a brilliant result for us. Styles make fights and I think today Villas were crowded out of their usually brilliant midfield rythym. We just couldn't get through there defence and our strikers just couldn't find the target at all today. On a general thing, why are some clubs easy to like - Villa, for example - while some are completely toxic? ( 9:22 Yes, Newcastle Saudi Sportswash Utd, I’m looking at you. ) Personally, I’ve never had a bad day at Villa Park, win, lose or draw.
Hi Max, great video as always, my opinion is that the build up from the back is too slow , too many touches with no end result, Forest parked the bus and were really good in defending, anyway, just a bad day at the office, move on, UTV, love from Malta
You called it right, we were too slow with the ball and not many players up giving options - Forest defended well but we should be more clinical.
Fair play Forest, disappointed as we had the chance to go 3rd….! On to Thursday night….
We never really looked like scoring. Very wasteful in the final third.
A goal very early against us in each half, one from a howler by Martinez, we just weren't gonna get anything out of this.

Even thought we beat Luton 3-1 in previous game, I think the slow play carried on from that game, sometimes I think konsa is playing statues with the ball, yes understand draw the striker in then play, but seriously think up the pace, we could seriously put some teams to the sword, chance to go 3rd, many games over years, when we want that result, never seem to get it, as u sa can't win em all, utv, looking forward to Thursday lion🦁

It would’ve been nice if you’d have gave credit to the winning team though - you did what MOTD normally does - that we basically only win because the other team are having an off day etc..

Out of all the midlands club’s forest is the club I like..but this is the reason I’m not desperate for all the clubs in the midlands get up into the premier league because we never EVER turn up in midland derby’s..as we know all those clubs turn up against the Villa don’t they always do

Quite slow and predictable today, especially in the final third. I wonder whether it's time to freshen up the midfield - Tielemans looked lively when he came on. Teams are starting to suss that if they close out the passes through the middle to Luiz/Kamara it stops us - another body in the midfield and moving Diaby out wider might freshen it up a little. On to the next
Moving Diaby out wide has to happen away from home imo, got marked out the game completely today

I'm convinced Bailey can only ever score from when he controls and dribbles the ball in toward goal. Any type of volley or one timer and it either sails or he doesn't get a clean connection. And Zaniolo never seems to get a proper setup. It's either off target, bouncing too high, etc...frustrating to watch today, especially with the condensed midfield.
We weren’t at it, Forest were. We can’t have any complaints as frustrating as it is.

I really do think there are 2 players / poitions we are getting wrong at the moment. The defense, central 3 and main striker pick themselves. But Diaby needs to play wide, he isnt an ST. And I dont get what Zaniolo does or why he starts? He isnt great on or off the ball, not sure how he improves the team - am I the only one thinking that about Zaniolo?
