Saw Yellowman at the iconic Ogden Theater in Denver,mid 90's.Less than 100 people attended the show.That didn't stop or discourage Yellowman.He put on an absolutely energetic & passionate performance that blew me away.Big respect to a charismatic, gifted singer, dancer & performer.

The concert also featured Kotch, Judy Mowatt, many other reggae acts, Sunny Ade, and Fela. Yellowman and Fela were the concert headline acts. Ranks as the greatest ever concert I watched live to date.

But Yellowman did not have any real competition during his peak. He was head and shoulders above the rest. I saw him at the 1986 Reggae Sunsplash and many times since.
