The Office "NO GOD PLEASE NO" in different languages

- Famous "The Office" Scene (S5E9) in 6 different languages : English, German, Latin Spanish, French, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese
DISCLAIMER : I am aware and sorry that I have put by mistake the Portuguese flag instead of the Brazilian one in the video. Same goes for the Spanish one which should be Latin Spanish (and UK instead of US, but no one complained about that one ^^). It is complicated for me to change that now, however I hope you can still enjoy the video. Peace :)

Bonjour ! In France, you have to repeat the scene again and again and again , until it's perfect, like if it was the true voice of the actor and they can stay until the night if the boss is not happy of the result. That why, the guy shout so loudly. 😁

Kudos to the Italian crew, because they made The Office sound more like the telenovelas my abuela made me watch growing up! I love how this clip of Michael can be used as a reaction for so many situations and it's STILL relatable! I also love how Toby is literally just the most normal and boring person in the world who doesn't get phased by anything, even Michael's obsessive hatred. And a fun fact, the script simply said Michael screams when he sees Toby...so the "NOOO, GOD! NO, GOD, PLEASE, NO! NO! NO! NOOOO" part was ALL Steve improvising!

I was surprised that the French interpretation was angrier than the German
Same Im suprised as a French😂
Because this was just real German and not the fake German you hear in American movies or when somebody tries to pronounce German like it's Klingon. A German for example would never pronounce the actually very nice and soft German word for Schmetterling the way you can find thousands of Americans screaming it in youtube videos.
@@FMark-cb9yz ahhhh, I get it
The German angry stuff is extremely stereotypical. German don’t sound aggressive as the rest the world portrays it.
I mean German sounds a bit aggressive and some things just sound weird but it's just over exaggerated by American movies and stuff
2:03 There the flag of Portugal appeared, but in fact the dubbing is Brazilian. The Portuguese from Portugal and Brazil are very different orally, we understand each other but it is very evident to distinguish between a Portuguese and a Brazilian when speaking, even more than an American for a British!

Curiously the french version is the only not mentioning God.
Cause in french we don't use the "god" so they changed it :
All french are atheist
French is a really atheist country in it's mindset (even thought a lot of people are religious there). So mentioning god in a "normal" conversation feels weird
@@lounisphotography That's totally untrue, you know that the French also use their own version of 'oh my god !', in this case it's just language differencies, that' all.
It is because we don’t have a one word saying like « GOD ! » to express anger.
« Mon Dieu ! » (« My God ») is rather used to express surprise, so it would have been weird to use it here :)

well, to be honest, I really like the French version because the voice actor put his whole heart to transcribe the emotion felt by the original actor at this very moment. But for me, and no matter what you all think, the best version will always remain the original version especially for his last "nooooooo" that seems to come straight out of his guts
The dub versions all feel disconnected from the picture. The original one sounds like it's indeed recorded in the office, others feel like it was recorded in a studio...which they were. It doesn't work at all because they feel fake. Like every single dub out there.

@@Steak818 You have no right to call any dub watcher a braindead moron just because he wants to look at the screen when he watches something and not focus on the lowest part of it. Reading subtitles makes the experience of watching movies/shows less enjoyable. There's nothing bad with watching a show in my mother tongue. If you wanna watch subbed shows then do it, no internet user can tell you what to do. But you can't tell any other person what to do too.
@@IntrozGG You have to ask yourself why do you want to watch a foreign show in your mother tongue. Why is that important ? Why do you even relinquish the idea to have to watch something in your mother tongue ? Why can't you hear another language that is not your mother tongue ? Are you ok there ?
Reading subtitles actually asks the watcher to use one very basic human skill : reading. Eveybody and his grandmother do it since they're 7 years old. You spend your life reading, all the time.
Subtitles are specifically made to be readable in less than half a second, it is an absolutely trivial task, kind of like breathing actually. Of course, you'll switch to manual breathing mode if you focus so much on breathing and it will ruin the next 10 seconds or so. Not a so pleasant experience right ?
I want to reassure you, while doing so you're actually not missing a thing from the screen. It's ok, breath and read.
Well, except if the person has some kind of mental retardation. Or has lung cancer. Or is a braindead moron. I guess, I'm not a doctor. Anyway.

A título de esclarecimento, a última bandeira deveria ser do Brasil. Já que a dublagem é brasileira.
Oi
Yes the language is "Portuguese" (Brazilian Portuguese) and that's why makes no sense to use Portugal (country) flag since no one from this country worked in this dubbed version.
Damn, the french voice actor did it as good as the original audio
Why are italians always so damn good in voice acting?
because the average Italian does not know English, so we turned dubbing into an art, creating universities and other absurd courses (absurd in a positive way)
@@michaelcarpino2000 as if people from other nationalities were better with english...
@Il Cavalluccio Marino bah...
Di sicuro resta il vecchio irresistibile bisogno di auto-sminuirsi, quella sì che è una caratteristica reale (zappa sui piedi).
@Il Cavalluccio Marino i greci? brasiliani? francesi? ma che caxxo dici....
@@michaelcarpino2000 I can agree with that...
Holy cow... I've seen plenty of italian dubs of movies and TV series and...
Boys you italians sure are special...
I thought the neeiinn neiinn would be the impression of a certain painter....
