    Thank you.
    It is a concept album (actually the second in a planned trilogy- the 3rd is our early next year).
    The story is played out live on stage with actors and props.

    Thanks for those recommendations. I’ve downloaded and have been listening to the Teiger album all afternoon and I love it. Hopefully I can source a real copy of it soon. Thank you for an awesome channel, all the best from Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺

    I would list Mark Knopfler's latest "One Deep River" and Sierra Ferrell's "Trail of Flowers" among the finer records to be released in 2024.

      I’ve been listening to One Deep River this weekend and like most MK albums it’s growing on me.

    Good video, thanks! I appreciate you showing the CD packaging, booklets, etc. It matters to a lot of us (I prefer plastic jewel cases, but the ones in your video look like nice alternatives). Love hearing about new, good rock.

    What's great about this video is I've never heard about any of these releases when they came out and the only musician I heard of that was mentioned was Peter Jones. Never heard of Tiger Moth Tales until now. Will give that a listen for sure as with the rest.

    Love the review of some "unsung" (if you will) bands. There are a lot of good bands, whether local or on a concert circuit, that deserve an audience. A lot of them really play with a lot of heart because they are trying to build an audience, and you catch a few acts just taking off. Also, a lot of musicians from big acts are doing side projects, and they become accessible if you want to meet them.
    Some bands pleasantly surprise you on how good they come off LIVE. I remember that I saw the Doobie Brothers once at a venue called the Concord Pavilion in the San Francisco Bay Area. I knew a few of their songs, but was never a big fan.
    So these big bearded guys started testing out the equipment (I thought they were roadies). Then all of a sudden the entire band is on stage, and they start playing (a lot of strings, two drummers, etc). One of the best LIVE shows I ever saw, and I'm even really into their music! It was the late 90s as I remember it.

    Not exactly new but newish:
    The Gathering - How To Measure A Planet (I'm a great fan of all their stuff, esp with the wonderful Anneke Van Giersbergen);
    Silver Machines - Ten Silver Drops (the sadly departed Ben Curtis also founded School Of Seven Bells, of which Ghostory is worth a spin if you veer towards electronica);
    Silversun Pickups - Neck Of The Woods (love the creativity of this band).

    Love your channel and particularly your knowledge and appreciation of prog. However, I’ve listened to all 4 albums and they’re pretty forgetful. I immediately put on the new Hawkwind album to restore my faith in music and albeit a very old performer, hugely inventive and enjoyable
