That's interesting, wonder why my vids would pop up for a VRBO search. I am glad you found me though! The rents on West ave can be pretty affordable for Miami and the excellent location. I am planning to do some food stuff soon, but I think would be better to make them into separate videos, all about that

Cool tour! I don’t really go to west avenue much, or ever lol. But over there by pura vida is a good brunch place called Oliver’s, it’s been good every time I go! Def want to check out that bay road area. At 28:30 that bay was beautiful!! Hmm might be a new area to consider checking out in the future! And love pura vida, they have one in south of fifth, I think the original location. It’s my fave! Anyway, great tour!!

Great video- most of Miami Beach just show Ocean Drive or the beach. I spent last week there and its a wonderful place. As you may recall however I'm especially concerned about the rising oceans and future floodings. It would be great renting though especially in winter. Summer is a bit hot. You are certainly correct that cars are not needed to live in Miami Beach- in fact they are a nuisance.
I can say i just about walked every street in MB- one day I did near 11 miles. The other days about 5 miles + the free trolley. I can more accurately say I walked every block South of Flamingo Park.
Thank you Steve! Nothing wrong with just renting here as you please, and spend summers in a more mild place. I plan to do the same one day! That is still a great walk, all blocks south of Flamingo park, nice job! Although, that is still just a small piece of Miami Beach. I plan to cover all of it with these vids 👌

I love this area, so practical to live there for shopping and transportation . Beautiful to be on the bay ! Much nicer than the Ocean drive . I bought at the Mirador love being across the street from Whole Foods .

Monad Terrace is next level expensive and luxurious. Eventually, the entire baywalk will be connected from 5th street to Lincoln Rd. and onto Sunset Harbour via the new pedestrian bridge on Lincoln Lane.
I realized when I was watching the replay, the sign on the window says starting at 1.7million. Great! Everyone can afford that👌

I live in Seattle and retiring soon so would like to spend some of my winters in South Beach, so much appreciate if you have any suggestions for short term rentals. probably be spending the other winters in the other places I love - Hawaii and Mexico. Seattle is to beautiful to not be there the rest of the year.

I enjoy your walking Videos . It gives me a good feel for Miami...If I take the Brightline Train to Miami it is only 1 mile to the Bayfront is that were the Boardwalk is were you can go all the way to North Miami ....

Hey Michael, how is the situation with the Portuguese man o'war in Miami Beach? I was there 2 weeks ago and the beaches were full of those creatures. Does that happen every year and for how long they are usually around?
Yes every year we do get them around this time or spring time, and they stick around for a few days its seems and then you won't see them. Its on and off and towards end of spring you hardly see any at all
This is the polar opposite of the hooligans and degenerates you see on Collins and Ocean lol. I also love the proximity of West Ave to Lincoln Road Mall to find the mamacitas

They are so lucky, all the good stores and restaurants are right there👍 Wish we could get more of that same scene here in north beach

Hello, just wondering about Venice, FL. Thinking about moving there. Looking for a 3+ bedrooms and 2+ bathrooms home on an acre or more lot, with a pool and a place to park the motor home, with no HOA fee. Any suggestions if not Venice ? PS what does a typical music gig pay in Florida ?.
I don't know too much about Venice other than it's very popular for retirees and it's pretty affordable. You could also look in the Bradenton and Sarasota area too. I'm not sure what a typical music gig pays here

Oh yes, very important😀 I am planning a road trip around FL in a couple months actual. Yes houses do appreciate more in value over the years than condos. Miami tax rates depend on where you live in Miami, but are around 2%
