The Waeve, the new duo featuring

solo artist and founding member of Blur, Graham Coxon, and London based singer songwriter Rose Elinor Dougall about their first single ‘Can I Call You’. Starting as a ballad, the track morphs into a krautrock-style motorik number with a sprawling Coxon guitar solo. Additional production comes from super-producer James Ford.

Like all these incredible & wonderful new songs by The WAEVE, this song has much tension & power! The shifting tempo with the guitar solo is sensational & the saxophones are mind-blowing. The vocals are emotionally dense. There is sadness & despair, but also hope & comfort. What a great great great, phenomenal & inspiring song!
