Well everyone should know the good and bad, by noisy i mean it is like any other fan which is noisy at highest speed, its not a silent fan, but that does not make it a bad fan, the feature set is really nice overall.

Yes you can try disabling the sleep mode. Sleep mode keeps reducing the speed by 1
