I worked in the Kitchen with Ike at Raybrook. We no that Tango was a made up person for the film and im sure they is other things made up. I think that Lucas might of been CIA because the CIA were bringing in heroin from Laos and Thailand during Vietnam so Lucas could of been the front guy. Can a normal guy from America fly out to Thailand and get himself that much heroin and get it flown into the country on Military planes without anyone knowing ? then you have the fact that the CIA also used the same method of delivery so to me it cries CIA.

Nicky Barnes was the true Black Caesar of NYC not Frank Lucas, I did research on Nicky Barnes for a school back in the late 1990's and Frank Lucas was only mentioned once in the New York TImes and that is when Lucas was arrested on drug charges that he eventually did about ten years in that same article it was revealed that Lucas had tried to have Nicky Barnes killed. I honestly believe that Hollywood didn't want to tell Nicky Barnes's story because he like Bumpy Johnson before him was a true boss that didn't bow down to italian mobsters
