The inspector doing quality checks and readings, checking the humidity to get the " spread", wet mil gauge ( thickness), blast profile, etc.. I was trying to see if their 6-bagger, blast pot, was the old air pressure switch ( where the pot loses pressure everytime you let off the Deadman switch, or if much more efficient electric 12 V Deadman switch). The painter was doing a lot of whipping around, fan seemed wide. All in all it looked like a good set up, just needs some improvements. I would much prefer to be outside in open air, weather permitting, as far as my health anyway, lol. That little bit of dust is a drop in the bucket, look around at smoke stacks, billowing out tons of pollution, such as coal fired power plants, etc.. All in all, good job guy's. Good video.
@furqan It's not ment for safety it is ment for body fluids, acids and fats it will start rusting , So if you put your hands on clean blasted steel you will have there paint failure in future.

In simple term: chemical cleaning remove most of surface contamination including grease and oil traces except few tightly adhered scales, but it won't give any anchor profile for adhesion of paints. In case of blasting, Not only contamination are removed but also achieve a good anchor profile for further coating. The grease and oily substances may not be removed by blasting. The detergent/chemical cleaning subsequent with a water wash are normally done in such cases. Trust this clarify your query. 😊

what you saw on the video was painting so you spray it on the object with air to create an nevel to dek it out, and coating is with powder and elektromagnatic static so the powder stays on the object and then gets heated in around 160 to 200 C :) after that it is finished when it get out of the oven
it is embarrassing that you sandblasting and paint outside without any booth. Do you know that there is only one world to protect and to maintain? This video must be removed from youtube. There is nothing interesting to share with the rest of the world.
