Warhammer isn't marvel. Marvel appeals to people that aren't necessarily die hard comic fans. The Warhammer fan base is INTENSELY dedicated to the existing lore. They will lose their minds if the writers try changing their factions and story.
I'm not white, but I have many hobbies that are predominantly popular among white guys; Never once have I considered this a problem, I didn't even notice it until identity politics became popular. Comics are kept afloat by legions of white guys who were into the hobby before it became socially acceptable. Warhammer (especially the minis) has been predominantly kept alive by hundreds of thousands of white guys. MtG, WoW, DND, TTRPGs in general, etc., have all been predominantly popular among white guys. These spaces have overwhelmingly been welcoming to anyone genuinely interested in the hobby, rarely have I felt discriminated against because of my race. Now, after these hobbies have become more socially acceptable, we have tourists attempting to push out the original fanbase as if its wrong for them to enjoy something. Brothers, vote with your wallets, do not support companies that would throw you under the bus in order to chase after new money. They only do it because they take you for granted. I hate racism in all its forms, this obvious includes when its directed at white people. It shouldn't matter but to those concerned, I'm black.

Many companies are happy to pay us lip service when we complain while doing very little to change. It's only after they start feeling the loss of income that they buckle. Bit late on this one guys, but She was reprimanded by Saber and made a corpo statement distancing herself on twitter before later leaving the company. She no longer works at Saber and hasn't for a long time. So hopefully they edited or just straight up scrapped all the writing she did for the game. Hope this helps.

@@liderc9948 9th edition is "standard", but then we have remnants from everything else which can be used for homebrews and what not. Depends on if you're after lore, or rulesets for the tabletop. If it's just for the tabletop, go for 9th or 10th. 9th is considered the standard, though, and is fairly balanced and fun. I'm talking 40k and not fantasy, I am not familiar with fantasy. Just think of it like D&D, it's easiest. The community isn't exactly a united whole, it's splintered into flavors and homebrews too.

Writers rooms were journeyman systems. We had Head Writers(Masters), Senior Writers(Journeymen), and Staff Writers(Apprentice). Then we kinda accidentally broke it during the content boom. There weren't enough masters and they were expensive. The head writer stopped being a 50-60 year old with decades in the system learning what worked and didn't work. We started getting Journeymen running things, 30-40 years old. And then people who would still be Apprentices when there weren't enough Journeymen. It helps that hiring a Senior Writer to run a project with a bunch of Staff Writers is cheaper.

I'm not white, but I have many hobbies that are predominantly popular among white guys; Never once have I considered this a problem, I didn't even notice it until identity politics became popular. Comics are kept afloat by legions of white guys who were into the hobby before it became socially acceptable. Warhammer (especially the minis) has been predominantly kept alive by hundreds of thousands of white guys. MtG, WoW, DND, TTRPGs in general, etc., have all been predominantly popular among white guys. These spaces have overwhelmingly been welcoming to anyone genuinely interested in the hobby, rarely have I felt discriminated against because of my race.
Now, after these hobbies have become more socially acceptable, we have tourists attempting to push out the original fanbase as if its wrong for them to enjoy something. Brothers, vote with your wallets, do not support companies that would throw you under the bus in order to chase after new money. They only do it because they take you for granted.
I hate racism in all its forms, this obvious includes when its directed at white people. It shouldn't matter but to those concerned, I'm black.
So the answer to them pushing us out of hobbies we've loved and kept alive for 25+ years is to leave the hobby that we've loved and kept alive for 25+ years? It doesn't feel like a W.

I didn't have high hopes for Space Marine 2 due to Saber Interactive in the first place, so it's nice to know there hasn't been any reason to change that outlook thus far.

So this Ashley Cooper, is put in charge of writing a franchise, where she dislikes the franchises IP and the main customer base, it makes no sense. It's the Disney excuse. By being more inclusive they are trying to bring in a larger audience outside of it's core audience. What they don't seem to understand is. 1) That the way they are going about it angers the core audience into leaving the product faster than they can onboard new customers. 2) The reason it's popular is because it's different, people want and crave variety. It's why anime and manga are popular, they aren't written for a US audience so they aren't like anything the US audience has. We see the same thing in the publishing industry for novels.

Bit late on this one guys, but She was reprimanded by Saber and made a corpo statement distancing herself on twitter before later leaving the company. She no longer works at Saber and hasn't for a long time. So hopefully they edited or just straight up scrapped all the writing she did for the game. Hope this helps.

@@liderc9948 9th edition is "standard", but then we have remnants from everything else which can be used for homebrews and what not. Depends on if you're after lore, or rulesets for the tabletop. If it's just for the tabletop, go for 9th or 10th. 9th is considered the standard, though, and is fairly balanced and fun. I'm talking 40k and not fantasy, I am not familiar with fantasy. Just think of it like D&D, it's easiest. The community isn't exactly a united whole, it's splintered into flavors and homebrews too.

Writers rooms were journeyman systems. We had Head Writers(Masters), Senior Writers(Journeymen), and Staff Writers(Apprentice). Then we kinda accidentally broke it during the content boom. There weren't enough masters and they were expensive. The head writer stopped being a 50-60 year old with decades in the system learning what worked and didn't work. We started getting Journeymen running things, 30-40 years old. And then people who would still be Apprentices when there weren't enough Journeymen. It helps that hiring a Senior Writer to run a project with a bunch of Staff Writers is cheaper.
