Year 1989. During aparteihd era South Africa. We were hand picked by our primary school Head Master based on the tone of our struggle song (toy toy)voices. He (Sir Mdlalose RIP) made, out of us, a blazing award winning choir of that era . Back then, my understanding of the English language was minimal, but today, i can say i really enjoy the poetry behind this beautiful an timeless composition.
