The Sharks did that a couple times back then. The worst was the Tulsa Shock, as they'd grab the balls out of the net as they came down meaning the opponent could never take it back. It was always ruled a touchback.

@@hansbrantley3674 It was, if I remember right, Talladega 1969. Back then spectators were basically allowed to be right next to the track. Without catch fences or buffer barriers. So it would be easy to just hop it fast and hop into the car before anyone could stop you. Though he only made it to the back straight when he gave up seeing a road block of other Nascar service vehicles and a couple state police cars coming up behind him.

Two of my favorites are when a fan jumped into the fountains at Kauffman Stadium to get a home run ball, and when a cat came onto the field at Kauffman.

I was at a Rockies game in the mid-90s (‘94, ‘95, or ‘96) when a streaker got onto the field. Next to our mascot Dinger hatching, it was the most memorable moment in my 26 years of going to Rockies games that had nothing to do with gameplay. Good times.

As a football player myself (not yet in college) if a random person comes on the field, grab him and hold him in place, you have pads, he can’t hit you. If they start going kinda physical or anything bad, truck him.
