I can understand why you are so disappoint with Spider Man 3 from 2007. I personal don't hate the movie like other people do I actually saw this movie in theaters when it came out in 2007 I enjoy the movie for what it is t's not perfect it has issues like for example one of issues is how Venom was portrayed in the movie. I will say It's not Sami Rami fault for why Spider Man 3 is a mess it's actually Sony fault for why Spider Man 3 turn out the way it did . I am not going to get into the details of what went on with the production of the movie I will just say there was a a lot of creative minds or cooks in the kitchen that want it make it the movie they thought we would like like for example we need more of this like Venom. That's why this movie does not feel like the other two movies in the series. Sami Rami was forced by Sony to put Venom in the movie but Sami Rami did not want Venom in the movie because he does not understand the character. Yes he mention in interviews that he is a Spider Man fan but he did not understand the character of Venom because that character came out when he was not reading the comics. He is more familiar with Spider Man character from the early days of character creation that would be the 60's era. That's why those movies of his has a 60's feeling to the movie.
I will say I also understand why you don't like the dancing scene in the movie I personally am not bother with that scene in the movie it's not main focus of movie and one thing you may not understand is when Peter Parker/ Spider Man is consume by the symbiote he would do erratic behavior like for example playing a nasty trick on a person like for example his bully Flash Thompson or hitting on another person which would cause M.J to get mad at him ext. It's the symbiote that is causing him to do erratic behavior like having revenge on the killer that killed his Uncle Ben. That is symbiote is taking over him to point he can't think straight or have common sense of what is right or what is wrong. I hope that this insight that I gave you may have change you mind on the movie or may give you another perspective to think about when you watch the movie again. Enjoy the review.
