- 2022 was the final year in the lives of some 60 million people. Among them was Queen Elizabeth II, who died in September at the age of 96. NBA legend Bill Russell passed away in July at 88. Oscar winner and Hollywood icon Sidney Poitier passed in January at 94. Notable comedians like Bob Saget, Gilbert Gottfried and Leslie Jordan died in 2022, as well as singers like Loretta Lynn, Naomi Judd, Aaron Carter and Irene Cara.
I'm 21, and I lost my mother who was a single parent, my cousin and best friend. May everyone who died this year rest in peace🙏

On December 29th, Brazilian soccer great Pele passed away aged 82.

I lost my grandmother in late July/early august, and it's been hard without her. She meant the world to me, and I wish I could have spent more time with her.

VA Billy Kametz died from colon cancer back in June of this year. He was the voice of Josuke from JBA and Ferdinand from FE3H. He will be forever missed. :(
My grandpa died on the morning of March 3rd 2022. My dad was with him and he gave him CPR, but he kept waking up and going out over and over and finally, he decided to let him rest. It is better to die peacefully than live suffering.

It’s only by the blood of Jesus Christ that saves a person from Hell. When someone is saved by Grace through Faith, good works will come out as a result.

One noteworthy person that died this year who I miss a lot is Jim Wrinn, who sadly passed away on March 30th, 2022 from pancreatic cancer at the age of 61. Jim was the head editor of Trains Magazine for nearly 18 years and was also a longtime volunteer at the North Carolina Transportation Museum, helping to preserve and restore the museum’s Graham County Railroad 3 Truck Shay 1925, which he saw in revenue service many times as a child when living in Western North Carolina. He also wrote and published a book called Steam's Camelot, which documented the Southern Railway (later Norfolk Southern)'s original steam excursion program. He was such an influential figure in the railroad preservation world, and I really wish I could've gotten to meet him before he passed.
I'm sorry to say that Jim Wrinn, like so many unsung good people, is someone of whom I have no knowledge. I salute any and all people who not only help to preserve our history but get satisfaction in helping to teach it to others. I regret not know of his work but morn the loss of yet another good person who thought of others. May his works live on in the minds and hearts of those who benefited from his knowledge whether they knew it or not. R.I.P.

The middle aged dad in his 50s who harmed James Rayl should get no mercy in return. The middle aged criminal must be caught, prosecuted, and then sent to prison for the term of LWOP or get the DP for the murder of James Rayl! NO MERCY FOR THE POS MONSTER WHO MURDERED JAMES R.! A part of Ohio is extremely corrupt, the injustice! The cold blooded murderer who caused the death of James Rayl haven’t been caught yet, the injustice!!! May James D. Let’s not forget Technoblade who died of Cancer at 23 years old and lastly the Queen passing was the saddest part of my life just as much as my nanny passing away 6 Years ago she was my Queen for 16 years of my life and I am happy that I got to know her for the 16 years that I did she set me up very well and lastly I’m deeply saddened about all the people we’ve lost in the past year and this year but for the Queen I’m Crying just to move on because that’s what the Queen would have wanted

I lost my great grandma two months ago and it's still hard to believe. She was the glue to our family that healed all of us together. I miss her so much.

I am 76 and I remember so many people who passed since I was a kid. I don't remember so many famous people dying until I was around 13 when I heard that Clark Gable had died in Dec 1960. After that I took notice of famous people who died.

The death that makes me cry to this day is Alec John Such. I was in tears when I heard the news. It literally happened on the day of my older sister's high school graduation. I was truly devastated and in tears. My mom didn't tell me but I found out by looking at the news. RIP Alec. You will be remembered.
