Nicholas Jamaal Chubb was born in Cedartown, Georgia on December 27, 1995. His parents are Henry and Lavelle Chubb. Nick also has two older brothers- Zachary Chubb and Henry Chubb Jr, and one younger brother- Nidra Chubb. Sadly, Nick’s parents got separated when he was a kid, so he moved in with his mom in Cedartown. But after the divorce, his parents shared custody of the kids. So Nick would constantly end up in Chubbtown while staying with his father. When it comes to his family, they have a heavy sports background. Henry, his father, used to be a Valdosta State University football player. Henry Jr., Nick’s older brother, played football at Troy University, and Zach played defense for the Air Force Academy. But it doesn't stop there. Nick’s uncle, Aaron Chubb, also played for the Georgia team. His older cousin, Bradley Chubb, was chosen fifth overall in 2018, and his other cousin, Brandon Chubb, signed as an undrafted free agent and has since played for several NFL teams. Chubb went to Cedartown High School and after he graduated, chose to play at the University of Georgia from 2014 to 2017. He was going to enter the 2017 NFL Draft, but later decided to return to Georgia and play out his senior year. The following year, Nick was drafted by the Cleveland Browns.

Yes I think he will be a HOF RB The guys not only a great RB but a class act. What he does with charities is really amazing and he’s just a super humble guy and that’s coming from a Dolphins fan. I wish him the best. Oh and the year he was drafted I picked him up in my FF league and he was a big part of how I won that year. I’m 54. I was at both the drive and the fumble, brutal. I have been a browns fan since birth. I have had many favorites. I was too young for Jim Brown. Bernie, Earnest, Clay and a few others. I own 1 jersey. Nick Chubb. He is by far my favorite brown of all time.

He remains humble and continues to work our with Coach Mikey Worthington and our high school. He inspires our CHS players to be the best they can be. We are so proud of him it's unreal!

About coach Rush Propst ( a real man of character 🤣) who accused Nick :
"First, he got in trouble for allegedly altering players grades so they’d be eligible to suit up for the Bucs (edit: his HS team), as well as qualify for college scholarships. Propst, who was married to his high school sweetheart with three children, had an affair with the school administrator who helped to fudge the grades."
"In addition, he had an entire second family in another part of the state"
"Valdosta, the country’s all-time winningest high school program, was subject to severe penalties from the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) after an investigation found the coach guilty of several infractions including arranging for rent to be paid monthly for families of star transfer players like quarterback Jake Garcia and Amari Jones. Propst was previously dismissed from Colquitt County High School for several similar infractions."
"Among the most serious allegations, Propst was accused of dispensing “pills” to his players. Colquitt’s report said that he gave a pill to a player, who later seemed lethargic, during halftime of a 2012 game and later promised not to provide any more medication to his athletes.
He was investigated by Valdosta H.S "The school fired Propst after an investigation by both Valdosta and the Georgia Professional Standards Commission accused him of participating in illegal recruiting and mishandling school funds."
About the accusation he made about Nick Chubb: " Propst told Saturday Down South that the leaked audio of the 63-year-old coach speaking to Michael “Nub” Nelson and accusing former University of Georgia running back Nick Chubb of receiving money in exchange for Chubb’s staying at UGA for his senior season was nothing more than a fabricated story". “It was just a bunch of B.S. talk,” said Propst during a Thursday phone call with Saturday Down South. “That’s all it was. I wish I could take back some of those things, but I can’t. You just have to own up to them.”
"1 year after his most recent hire, his program is being hit with sanctions. The GHSA has levied a $7,500 fine against the school, ordered the Wildcats to forfeit seven wins from last season, banned the team from playing in the 2021 postseason (something that has never happened in Georgia)"

When he was a rookie he was driving a non impressive v6 dodge charger. I worked on it and met him a couple times. Very humble very quiet. Nice enough to autograph a hat for me
