Virginia Zeani "Poveri Fiori" Adriana Lecouvreur

Virginia Zeani sings Adriana Lecouvreur in a live performance from Catania in 1977 conducted by Carlo Franci.
In Act IV Adriana opens a casket which contains the violets she had given only day before to her suitor Count Maurizio. They are dying and she thinks it is a token that his love for her has also died. But in fact they have been poisoned by Adriana's rival the Princess de Bouillon. Adriana and Maurizio are joyfully reconciled but too late, for the poison takes effect and Adriana dies in his arms.

To bodiloto. The key is correct (G minor) and the first note is G but it has come out slightly below concert pitch A440, probably due to repeated copying from an off air broadcast. It is certainly nowhere near a semitone down and there is no need for offensive comments.
