Badger, your question is valid. I shall tell you. An angled grip works better for long range weapons such as snipers or anti tank rifles where you will be laying prone more often then actually being in combat. Vertical grips are designed to aid in recoil reduction, hence they are better on fully automatic or burst fore rifles, smgs and the like. This is how they work irl, so ubisoft made good do having their attachments this way.
