For the curtains - I was going to say 3 but ya girl was shopping for herself and for YOU, I feel that 2 is perfect. Elegant, soft, classy. I love it. Also, I’m the same way about my car. It’s my safe space! We had some similarities in our lives as kids. I had an unstable father that my mom and I also had to run from. That man owes me thousands of dollars with all the therapy I had to go through because of him!! BUT, from trauma we learn resilience, wisdom, and a deep sense of empathy. You are so in tuned with yourself and give wonderful advice. Thank you for sharing your life with us ❤️
We live and learn and do better with our own lives, sending you love!
I think the best part of growing up is realizing that you have to do what's best for yourself. If that means letting go if relationships that you've outgrown or just really aren't that deep then so be it. You eye for design never fails to amaze me so i love seeing how you shop and pair things together to come up with your aesthetic.

I vote #2! Love your content. You do seem happy and I am thrilled to see it. You seem so confident in yourself and what you do and don't want in your life. Some people never get there. Having a difficult childhood is something that I understand very, very well and at some point you have to come to terms with how it has affected you and understanding that you may need to adjust to grow. I think you have done that and I am so happy for you.

I love curtain 1 it's so vibrant and poppy it'll pop so well against the green, but 2 is the safer more muted option, and it won't be too distracting from the room. Want it to pop go with 1 don't want to take away from the room then 2. Not helpful I know! 😂 And for your bedroom option 2. It will make your room more unique, and it'll add that extra warmth you want. Great vid too!

The most important thing to do when decorating your home is just go with what makes you the most comfortable and happy because you are going to be the one living there every day so if you don't enjoy it then it will never feel like home
I always enjoy the chaotic car chats with Daniel 😅. Isn’t it great when you come to the realization that happiness isn’t in the next place or the next job or even the next partner but it’s when you take yourself to see a movie, walk in the rain to get a coffee and ham and cheese croissant and can think “I am happy”. I appreciate your honesty and openness in all your videos.

#1 for curtains. I think the lighter paint in the bedroom will help it to not be as cavelike/darker. Also, I’ve been wanting to have some quiet time with myself, too. So it’s nice to know someone else is going through this, too
#2 for sure! It flows more with the green wall. It blends vs competes with the space :) And, for your bedroom, I think option #2. The lighter colour on the bottom would provide more light & breathing room.
And for your bedroom, I like the idea of the coffee/caramel color on the beadboard with the wall paper you’re using in the bathroom. It’ll lend to continuity from the bathroom to the bedroom. Love that idea, it’s a rich aesthetic and great for resale. People really like continuity, it’s pleasing to the eye. And that muted green on the wallpaper with that caramel color on the beadboard are both so calming, perfect for a bedroom. ♥️

I’m someone who would rather be busy and productive and on the go because then I don’t have idle time with my thoughts. I'd do #2 for the curtains (the red one is gorgeous, but too christmassy for me) and the darkest green for your bedroom. Yes, it's dark, but it will make your bedframe and windows pop, and it is easy to soften and lighten up with sheets, candles etc.

I think 1 for the curtains. The poppy’s are spectacular!! I don’t think the pattern is too overwhelming, but go with your intuition. Also, I vote coffee color for the walls (option 2). I love #2, but I really love #1 the best (for the fabric) and it was a sign as soon as you turned around your wrist to reveal your poppy tattoo. (It also reminded me of your Nest candle boxes)
I had some friends who had cousins that let their boys play with dolls and I LOVED IT! Their son would just bring his dolls at gatherings and it was just the coolest 😎

I agree with everything you said! Solitude and balance is a blessing though that we don't all have... I sure don't. I also have a very limited amount of friends in LA myself and it can feel very lonely .. So much beauty and fun to enjoy.. in the craziness too.The Taupe paint with green will look nice i think.
