Thats great but it isnt the strid! The strid is a short peice of the river belonging to the river Wharfe. I live here. Believe when i say you go in the strid you will not come out alive if youre found at all. I visit with my children all the time and i do not let go of their hands while I'm there.

For those who comment stupid stuff, the strid is deadly, but not as deadly as it seems. The 100% death rate is a rumor, and the place it refers to is a very select area of the strid. While I think nobody died here, he is still VERY lucky. Also, the area where it is extremely deadly has had one survivor. The survivor was a women who was pushed in by her husband, look it up, it’s very interesting. In other areas of the strid, the death rate is still very high, but their have been survivors.
