Just wanted to warn you that if you die some where really far away it might not respawn you at your base where you last slept, I have had this happen to me multiple times when trying to go mine the cactus

That's why you should set up bases across your world whenever you travel a significant distance.
I had a main base at spawn, but then went searching for a desert, but I had to circle the entire snow biome because I wasn't powerful enough to go through it, so it took me like an hour to finally get to the desert, so I just set up a new base there, and eventually It became my main base since it eventually became more advanced than my original base.
I recently made an airplane and flew back to my old base, which only took 10 minutes, and it literally feels like a ghost town compared to my desert village.

It's pretty easy. You just need a couple of blue rarity bows and about 100 arrows, then just stand up on some high ground where it can't get to you like a cave and shoot at it until it's defeated.
It also helps if there's a couple of trees in the way to block its projectile attacks.
Also, make sure it's natural high ground you're standing on since I'm pretty sure it can destroy structures when it charges and does its stomp attack.
