I would, but when Steve Whitmire was fired, that meant that all of Jim's influence was gone. Matt got Kermit because of auditions, not because Jim had picked him to continue his legacy. The Muppets, don't have that feeling that they used to, which is why Frank Oz left, and why Steve Whitmire was fired. They cared too much for the muppets.

Jim Henson is the best and timeless voice. Steve Whitmire is really good and is definitely trying to be like Jim and I even heard Steve had a dream one time where Jim told him to try your best to be Kermit and he delivered. Matt Vogel is definitely the worse voice. Honestly that one scene with his voice is kinda why I hate him. Personally he just said more like Constantine when he tried to act like Kermit in Muppets Most Wanted. So really its like Constantine is pretend to be Kermit again but this time actually acts like him and not playing fake. I know that’s not the real reason but that’s what I kinda see.
