- The body of a missing 28-year-old Tasmanian bushwalker has been recovered following an extensive search.
According to authorities, the man fell to his death near the mountain known as Frenchmans Cap.
The walker went missing on Wednesday after saying he intended to walk to the summit and return to Lake Vera that day.
The man, whose name has not been released, did not return to his camping site and the walkers reported their concerns to police shortly after.
