Fun fact: Apex Legends s1 - s10 had only 3 event SALES while s11-s19 had 35. On the contrary Apex legends s1 - s10 had 33 LTM not including valentines day duos whule s11-19 had 24. So basically we are getting less game modes and more skins and cosmetics.🙃

the game need WAY more than what you listed in this video, but at this point we're so content with the little content respawn gives us we'll settle for the bare minimum changes, at this point the game needs a whole engine change to fix some of the issues that plague the game, it's like apex makes a ton of money for EA but none of the money goes into making the game better, it just goes to the pockets of the big guys.
Respawn has seen a huge developer overhaul over Apex's lifetime. Which is why the game doesn't receive the risky and fun changes as in the earlier seasons, and greedy decisions do not get an instant apology from the Devs and a re-thinking. In season 5 we had quests and fun storylines/lore progression. Now we have the bare minimum, and most changes go to benefit the investors and shareholders rather than the players. It isn't just EA anymore, it's Respawn too.
No, this isn’t about nerfing the havoc and hemlok to the level of other guns, it’s buffing the other guns that’s have been endlessly nerfed. Havoc has been overall stat-wise the same since season 6, and damage/mag-wise since season 2, it hasn’t been a problem for 15 seasons, why now? Because they nerfed, the 301, flatline, r99, car, L-star, into relative obscurity. They need to rebuff these and not nerf more things.
Nah they gotta nerf the havoc. The nerfing needs to happen because of power creep. Players have gotten much better. Gotta reduce player efficiency for balance.
Tbf the havoc compared to every other weapon is interesting-less dmg but higher fire rate w the TC but more dmg less higher fire rate w.o it. I think the only gun that had this was the Fl but problem is that to get the dmg output you need it on single fire and it takes 2 bullets instead of 1.
Everyone knows you can shoot Evac with fuse ult, the same way everyone knew you could shoot a grenade with fuse ult before they ult it, also havoc/hemlock is meta because they nerfed every other AR, LMG, and smg in the game… Buff 301 - add two bullets back to the clip and add the 1 damage back to the gun they took away Buff flatline - reduce hip fire spread. Revert LMG blanket nerfs on every gun so people can actually use them. SMGs all could be tweaked but I understand what they could do to salvage them without basically buffing every controller player.. We don’t need to nerf hemlock or havoc anymore, we need to buff everything around these weapons *EDIT* We need to nerf controllers aim assist strength down to .3 and reduce the aim assist cone. The Finals handled the aim assist issue in that game within the first couple of weeks of its full release. It’s tragic the fact that players have to play controller to keep up and respawn refuses to touch aim assist to cater to their main player base.
I mean, there is always going to be a specific meta at the top play, always. Remember Mastiff Legends? Remember 301 Legends? I don’t think Havoc/Hemlock is *that* obnoxious.
Another nice feature would be „Theatre Mode“ - so just like in Halo you could go to the theatre and watch previous games so you can see what you did wrong, where enemies came from, etc.
the flatline sucks too, it does same damage as havoc, only 2 less bullets than havoc in its mag, then a very small amount less of recoil and a lot better hip. i honestly think its more powerful. also horizon passive and tac need huge nerfs because literally just bunny hopping wins a 1v1 and if your so bad that you almost lose you get a second try for free. i literally did flatline and horizon in solos and the first game was 17 kills
a good player with a havoc vs flatline the havoc wins everytime. The flatline isnt its just the Hemlok, Nemesis and havoc are better. I mean bunny hopping works against bad players I think its fine I've never died to a bunny hopping horizon considering I can just shoot them while they're jumping in a straight line.

i totally agree with the weapon meta. I used to love the havoc and it's one of my fav weapon in the past, but now it is SO CRINGE to use this nowadays. Majority of sweat wannabe players in pubs and solos r using this and worst is that some players r using two havocs as their secondary and primary weapon like Wtf LMAO
1) The devs need to filter the cringe comments from the constructive criticism, and more importantly they need to communicate their design intent and give concrete LIVE examples. Yes some people are overly toxic, but those "people" can easily be blocked/filtered. Their opinions are largely incoherent and irrelevant, anyway. 2) No, do not nerf hemlok/havoc. Rebuff all other guns. 3) Stop using ALGS stats and judge the game on ranked if that. Pros will use the strongest and most consistent weapons regardless; their "opinions" and the devs catering to them end up killing the game for the 99.99% of players that DO NOT play algs.
One thing I don't think you touched on is visual clutter. Every time I fire off an energy weapon, it lights my screen up like a supernova. Same thing with taking damage.

I dont even remember the last time Respawn came out saying they are implementing some things for the Anti-cheat or cheating measures. Compare that to COD Warzone where cheaters get matched together in the same lobby, or Valorant that has almost the fastest bans I have seen and takes time to keep addressing the issues of the community.

Personally, my biggest issue with the game: my game freezes consistently in the firing range. Freezes on main menu since latest patch. Frequently, I play a solo or duo round in Ranked because someone doesn't load in for reasons unknown. Infrequently, the server kicks me and I eat a DC penalty. Lots of ppl having these problems. Bare minimum for a game like this is to have decent servers and stability. Apex doesn't have that.
As a newborn apex player and of course a rev main (i wouldn't have minded if he wasn't reworked anyways) i agree, the ult is busted in the hands of a good player and it needs to be a wee bit punishing for playing recklessly. I also despise the weapon meta nowadays, i want variety not some soulless "i pick whats good" gameplay

Great work on the vid. I wish certain things were different like QOL changes-improvements. More set game modes instead of in n out. Leaderboards and just more accountability towards the game. Seems like it’ll never be perfect. I for one am not hanging around anymore to be tormented with getting the short end of the stick. When I say things like this on Reddit people always think I’m looney or something.
Awesome video, super positive but also super real about the issues. I love the game… it’s my favorite multiplayer game of all time… I still enjoy it the way it is but definitely will enjoy it more with the said changes mentioned.
The ONLY way to handle cheaters is making apex legends NOT free. Maybe like LoL or is it counterstrike, a separate competitive playlist where the players pay a subscription
cheaters #1 problem. wallhack is absolutely pervasive. it doesn't matter what balancing you do or what the battlepass costs or what the gun meta is if everyone is cheating to grief or win. i'm sure the devs are working hard, but EA obviously does not care about cheating.
Apex Matchmaking: "Hey buddy, I see you only get about 2-4 hours total per week to play, and you have 17K lifetime kills since you started playing in season 2, and you've never dropped a 20 bomb or 4k damage game. I also see your friends you're playing with are slightly less skilled than you and you all probably just want to have some fun together. So here's a former pred horizon with 60,000 kills (6,281 of which are for this season alone! They also dropped five 20 bombs this week too) and their similarly sweaty friends to play against!" Absolute pain.
That Fuse interaction with the EVAC only happens on PC. Specifically the UNINTENDED part. The intended interaction does happen on console. As a Fuse man who plays on console this was a surprise to me seeing it in ALGS. Pre the Havoc being meta it hadn't had any changes (other than the -1 damage for the turbo and then that being reverse) for ages. I've also enjoyed running the havoc. But now just hate the gun because every man and his dog runs it. So this meta is either less about the guns and more about perception or the pros need to admit they're idiots for calling the havoc C tier at best for so long. Region lock would basically just make this a US game. I know that doesn't make a difference to you, but there's certain regions outside the US that struggle to fill servers, especially at certain points during the day, so if you want to play, you're forced to region swap. If you're really complaining about someone of 150ms ping and truly think that's why you're dying, then there's some bad news for you. But if you're saying it because of all the cheaters following pros around on PC and filling up lobbies, then you're problem isn't the region lock, it's the cheaters. Without any changes already, you won't find a game on Sydney servers until about 2pm Sydney time. On PC last time I checked, it was around 4pm, unless you're happy waiting a good 30 minutes for a pubs game. But I do agree with you on several other things. Rev for example. Even happy with the havoc nerf you're suggesting. If it's stops the entire lobby being a havoc fest then I'm down. They definitely need to fix the Fuse unintended issue. Cheaters aren't going anywhere. But I'm sure they're working on something to reduce the numbers. That's all they really can do.

After your video I watched Birno who coincidentally mentioned that for PC on Australian servers there's only about 6 to 8 hours a day where you can get a game. So it's worse than on console, but not by a huge amount. Only a couple hours. Look ultimately, your video was well crafted and you made valid points. It's a comment section typed on a phone, I'm trying not to create an essay, so I cherry picked the bits that needed addressing because of what I saw as inaccurate or potentially harmful for players like myself who live in lower population regions.
Whats wrong for me is that players who spend money on the game have better aim and take less damage judging on how much you spend you get more perks, if you dont spend any them problems are extremely high recoil extream wepon randomness and we take more damage even getting downed with just one hit and also we have less damage output, oh and me personally i have everyone at respawn i hope to see them in hell were ill dominat them

Apex ranked should probably have a $5 price to play for new or inactive accounts instead of F2P. FPS are infested with hackers it's obvious there needs to be a big change in how developers approach tracking and banning players. At least with a purchase requirement it gives admins a chance and makes it cost cheaters in the long run. Imagine being a cheater and having 6 accounts banned in a couple hours you lost $30 and need a unique credit card every time. Maybe at that point they'd just give up and go cheat in some other game. It might be ironic that apex having pad aim assist in the game actually masks humanized aimhack.

Burst weapons are amaizng for for controller players. Again, im a roller player but goddamn this game caters so much to them lol while fortnite trys to balance it out between inputs with gun metas no matter whats going on. Nerf Horizon for starters and match making need to be based on number of hours played in Apex legends. If your playing trio's, and your teammates play hours of Apex and yours needs to be roughly similar to other teams in the lobby. You don't want a team with a total of 10,000 hours playing against a team with 100,000 total hours . Some people have jobs, family's, other hobbies and some people have none of that and play Apex 24/7. It ruins the game for average players when they get absolutely recked. It's turned into the Olympics.
How many nerfs do you want horizon to get? I think there are legends in this game that definitely need buffs first rather than just nerfing whatever you feel is unfair. Look at mirage? His clones don't even mimic his every action.

Random thoughts tho Map sizes too big(would help if the maps were produced with size in mind the more in the map the more harder it is to have a server manage everything happening at once), appeasing investors sucks, servers instead of figuring a solution like rollback for the game or meshing the networks. the leaderboard idea is so underrated, games with in game leaderboards are so much more competitive
I wanted quads since before solos. Quads is so much fun but I miss Arena Arena was just so much better than team deathmatch

Great work on the vid. I wish certain things were different like QOL changes-improvements. More set game modes instead of in n out. Leaderboards and just more accountability towards the game. Seems like it’ll never be perfect. I for one am not hanging around anymore to be tormented with getting the short end of the stick. When I say things like this on Reddit people always think I’m looney or something.
Awesome video, super positive but also super real about the issues. I love the game… it’s my favorite multiplayer game of all time… I still enjoy it the way it is but definitely will enjoy it more with the said changes mentioned.
The ONLY way to handle cheaters is making apex legends NOT free.
Maybe like LoL or is it counterstrike, a separate competitive playlist where the players pay a subscription

cheaters #1 problem. wallhack is absolutely pervasive. it doesn't matter what balancing you do or what the battlepass costs or what the gun meta is if everyone is cheating to grief or win. i'm sure the devs are working hard, but EA obviously does not care about cheating.
Apex Matchmaking: "Hey buddy, I see you only get about 2-4 hours total per week to play, and you have 17K lifetime kills since you started playing in season 2, and you've never dropped a 20 bomb or 4k damage game. I also see your friends you're playing with are slightly less skilled than you and you all probably just want to have some fun together. So here's a former pred horizon with 60,000 kills (6,281 of which are for this season alone! They also dropped five 20 bombs this week too) and their similarly sweaty friends to play against!"

That Fuse interaction with the EVAC only happens on PC. Specifically the UNINTENDED part. The intended interaction does happen on console. As a Fuse man who plays on console this was a surprise to me seeing it in ALGS.
Pre the Havoc being meta it hadn't had any changes (other than the -1 damage for the turbo and then that being reverse) for ages. I've also enjoyed running the havoc. But now just hate the gun because every man and his dog runs it. So this meta is either less about the guns and more about perception or the pros need to admit they're idiots for calling the havoc C tier at best for so long.
Region lock would basically just make this a US game. I know that doesn't make a difference to you, but there's certain regions outside the US that struggle to fill servers, especially at certain points during the day, so if you want to play, you're forced to region swap. If you're really complaining about someone of 150ms ping and truly think that's why you're dying, then there's some bad news for you. But if you're saying it because of all the cheaters following pros around on PC and filling up lobbies, then you're problem isn't the region lock, it's the cheaters.
Without any changes already, you won't find a game on Sydney servers until about 2pm Sydney time. On PC last time I checked, it was around 4pm, unless you're happy waiting a good 30 minutes for a pubs game.
But I do agree with you on several other things. Rev for example. Even happy with the havoc nerf you're suggesting. If it's stops the entire lobby being a havoc fest then I'm down.
They definitely need to fix the Fuse unintended issue.
Cheaters aren't going anywhere. But I'm sure they're working on something to reduce the numbers. That's all they really can do.

@@LowkeyRoss All good. They're pretty bad here. After your video I watched Birno who coincidentally mentioned that for PC on Australian servers there's only about 6 to 8 hours a day where you can get a game. So it's worse than on console, but not by a huge amount. Only a couple hours.
Look ultimately, your video was well crafted and you made valid points. It's a comment section typed on a phone, I'm trying not to create an essay, so I cherry picked the bits that needed addressing because of what I saw as inaccurate or potentially harmful for players like myself who live in lower population regions.
Whats wrong for me is that players who spend money on the game have better aim and take less damage judging on how much you spend you get more perks, if you dont spend any them problems are extremely high recoil extream wepon randomness and we take more damage even getting downed with just one hit and also we have less damage output, oh and me personally i have everyone at respawn i hope to see them in hell were ill dominat them

Apex ranked should probably have a $5 price to play for new or inactive accounts instead of F2P. FPS are infested with hackers it's obvious there needs to be a big change in how developers approach tracking and banning players. At least with a purchase requirement it gives admins a chance and makes it cost cheaters in the long run. Imagine being a cheater and having 6 accounts banned in a couple hours you lost $30 and need a unique credit card every time. Maybe at that point they'd just give up and go cheat in some other game. It might be ironic that apex having pad aim assist in the game actually masks humanized aimhack.

Based Video, completely agree on 90% of it. it isent a hard situation to fix when they let level 20 rookies que with preds and that bs. ranked needs a level 200+ requirment its season 22 ffs. bare minimum maybe something like if someone has spent less than 50$ or had at least 100 days on apex for ranked. anything but where they are currently at because it feels like 0 security at all. Burst weapons are amaizng for for controller players. Nerf Horizon for starters and match making need to be based on number of hours played in Apex legends. If your playing trio's, and your teammates play hours of Apex and yours needs to be roughly similar to other teams in the lobby. You don't want a team with a total of 10,000 hours playing against a team with 100,000 total hours . Some people have jobs, family's, other hobbies and some people have none of that and play Apex 24/7. It ruins the game for average players when they get absolutely recked. It's turned into the Olympics.

The majority of the community, from the Hal/Timmy-sized creators all the way to the casuals of the game who play for strictly fun have spoken up about Fuse exploit, frustrations w Havoc, being bored of maps, cheaters, idrk what you want from me in those regards.
