Congrats on the bat girl! I picked up mine when I saw you in there back in April. I do love the watch and it is my go to for a night out.
It took me a good few Rolex purchases but Prestons are great. You show them respect and they treat you properly.
One thing I do find odd about yhe bat girl is that I haven’t had a link taken out. I have with my other watches.

A friend of mine was in an AD in Mexico. He could have bought an Explorer 40mm there and then and was told he could get a Batman / Batgirl within 12 months.
He also got a submariner date from an ADs in Mauritius in 3 months. He was told it would take 3 months and 3 months later he got the call. The lucky git.

@BrendanBoswell Hi Brenny. Went there in Dec 22, as they are the nearest AD to me. Guy could not have been less interested. Very dismissive - exceot when I said I also wanted a Speedy. But too late by then ,as he'd completely put me off. Went into Manchester the same day and the experience could mot have been more different. Really professional, friendly and welcoming. Of course, I had to go on the wait list, but 18 months later, I'm 3 watches in.
And if Whittles can treat a watch youtuber like Brenny this poorly, what chance do we mere mortals have 😀

Amazing collection Brendan, well done. I'd have personally chosen the black dial Yachtmaster. Brown on watches just doesn't do it for me.

What? LOL. It's literally the same case and just 1 mm smaller? In fact, I'd argue the sub still wears better due to the glide lock clasp where you can tune the fit so much more pricesely to your wrist over the 5mm (take it or leave it) that the GMT ez link gives you. The sub bracelet makes it significantly more wearable than the GMT as the difference in the clasp size adjustability is huge which equates to a better fit.
@@steelsteez6118 Mate, do you have any of these watches or worn them? I had the new sub for 2 years and also worn the new batgirl from a close friend who also has the sub. There are 2 different watches . The 1mm smaller and 0.3mm slimmer batgirl and the more comfortable jubilee make it a much nicer wearing experience , for me and my friend also agrees on this.

I’m kicking myself as my AD did in fact offered me a two tone black face Yachtmaster and I knocked it back. Believe it or not I prefer the black face over chocolate but have since acquired the SS Yachtmaster with the Rhodium dial. I would happily swap it back for the two tone.

@@BrendanBoswell At this point, I'd be happy with ANY GMT since they've strung me along and sell them to all the Gray Market dealers. I'm going to put that beautiful two tone chocolate Yacht masters on my list if I ever get a GMT. I've heard that more Pepsi's are come into the ADs now. And oh, what do you think of the two tone GMTs? I really love those.

@@BrendanBoswell hi that's a big price step I've not got into patek manly as my wrist is 215 mm and I think they are catering for more average size wrist s and a lot more of formal dress type watches which do look very good . but for me I don't where suits and formal wear very often maybe not the brand for me?
