Niall Mackenzie to take part in the Knockhill 50th Anniversary SuperPrix at the Bennetts British Superbike Championship.
We are thrilled and honoured to announce that Niall Mackenzie will be taking part in the 50th Anniversary SuperPrix in two weeks with a grid packed of Yamaha TZ 250s, 350s and 750s! Racing for the Bill Simpson Trophy, 20 plus TZs will evoke the sight and smell of the racing era when Knockhill first opened in 1974.
Niall's connection with Knockhill goes back 43 years and was the venue for his first race win, and first crash (not of his making!) on his debut at Knockhill! He is now President of the Knockhill Motor Sports Club and recently, the main drive into the Circuit was named "Mackenzie Drive" in his honour.
We cannot wait for the Bennetts British Superbike Championship to return, especially with all our 50th celebratory elements - have you got your tickets yet?

Can't wait for a week tomorrow, we've been coming up to Knockhill for 14 years and this year is a bit special as it's the 75th anniversary of Moto GP, the 50th anniversary of racing at Knockhill and my 75th birthday on the Saturday. Even bigger bonus is the two strokes! Absolutely brilliant.
