I met a lot of celebrities when I was working as a chauffeur back in the 1980s and the only one who was a COMPLETE *SSH*LE was that Schneider guy, Pat Harrilngton, Jr. He was either drunk or on a "dry drunk" for a week, yelling at people, and being the biggest turd ever. I was a fan of his until I met him. Completely self-centered and AWFUL to staff. If Mackenzie Phillips had to deal with his bullsh*t while working on that show, I'm not surprised that she had problems (aside from those in her family). Sad to hear that her own father hurt her.

Everyone should honestly go out and read Dave McGowan's book "Weird Scenes inside the Canyon" (you can also find it as an online series of essays). This Phillips stuff is only the absolute tip of the iceberg: incest, ritualized pedaphilia, ritualized murder, even child cannibalism. He even reveals names in some cases. It'll change how you perceive the entire L.A. hippy movement. Obviously, never read it if you want to still look at those musicians (and related actors) with admiration. I was once a massive fan, now I'm not sure what to think of it all. When I hear the Doors come on the radio, it really makes me wonder: am I listening to truth or am I listening to a manufactured lie.

I think thats overstated. Jimmy is funny. My only issue is sometimes he had a tendency to rant and really hog a conversation, usually when a serious topic came up. Longwinded at times, which youd NEVER see me doing, because unlike some, I know when to stop. Im not like these chowder heads that dont understand that they are going on and on and on, and beating the same point to death. You know, at some point, you have just wrap it up, let OTHERS talk, and not love the sound of your own voice so damn much.
