Time for another Valentine's Day Hairstyle! This one combines 3 little elastic heartlets, a Mermaid Braid technique, and curls... making for a very beautiful combo!

You can choose to use pink, red, or clear elastics, perfect for Valentine's day. I went with dark elastic because I wanted the hearts to be the emphasis.
You can do the hair either wet or dry, we've done it both ways, and you can also pancake the heartlets to make them stand out further. You may find it helpful, as I did, to use pomade to help hold the hearts together as you braid.

I know this one is from a few months ago, but I just wanted to tell my story.
I did this on my 4 year old daughter just yesterday and then I took her with me to my cousin's bridal shower. Everyone was so amazed. I had so many people commenting and asking if I did it. It really was a hit! She looked so beautiful. I loved it as well!

I was wondering how you choose who you do the hairstyle on for the videos
95% is volunteer, the other 5% is based on hair length/type. We never force our kids to do this, it is only volunteer basis. That is why you rarely see Rylan, as she doesn't enjoy filming, but Kamri loves it!
The thing i love about cgh is that the kids are really happy! Some hair tutorials have the kids look unhappy and forced to be a part of the video and are uncomfortable. But in cgh mindy completely respects here children and love them so none of those happen! Brooklyn, Bailey, Kamri, Rylan, and Paisley are beautiful girls and awesome fun happy kids!!!

Cute Girls Hairstyles My daughter has shoulder length hair as well, One of these days when I redo her hair in a style modeled after how your channel has shown, I'll upload a picture or something. Shorter hair is harder to work with but it is possible to do similar braids and styles, you just don't get that long length of things! So I'm looking forward to seeing the new styles for short hair!
