- I'm sure the guys decided to drop All Because of You in favor of this track when they saw how well received it was.
Rousing version of Gloria from the last of 4 nights at the 3Arena in Dublin on Friday Nov 10th 2018.
Hope you enjoy this edit (which would not have been possible without the superb footage, dedication & filming skills of the U2Gigs.com Team - thank you for your efforts & support).
Multicam is a Mix of 2 Angles (Decided 'less was more' in this case as the song, band performance & audience participation do it all anyway...).

After 35 years, to be able to create the energy force they do here with this song, its absolutely remarkable.

So nice to hear the crowd singing along this forgotten gem. I know they hated the October album and it's really not their best, but this song has such a vibe, they shouldn't have stopped playing it.

What are the last few things he says at the end?
Bono says "Jesus died for somebody's sins". Probably a reference or nod back to the different 1975 song of the same name (written by Van Morrison and originally recorded by the band called Them in 1964) which Patti Smith subsequently recorded in 1975 for her album called Horses. Her version was only based on Van's tune and she only kept the chorus part and had different lyrics. Patti had a spoken intro part to her version of Van's song, where she says "Jesus died for somebody's sins, but not mine". I think that is what Bono is referencing when he utters the words "Jesus died for somebody's sins" at the end of U2's song called Gloria. Just my opinion and I may be wrong.
